Ogni volta che vedo questo video mi emoziono come un bambino,ho 54 anni faccio il vigile del fuoco e di morte ne ho vista tanta nella mia carriera.......questa morte assurda ha stroncato la vita di un grande calciatore ed insieme a lui i sogni di una città martoriata per vari motivi,ed anche i sogni di bambini che come me in quegli anni sognavano....ignari di come il destino avvolte si può accanire....grande Iacovone eterna bandiera tarantina.....

Conoscevo la storia e aggiungo che Franco Selvaggi, compagno di reparto di Iacovone in quel Taranto, dedicò alla sua memoria il titolo mondiale di Spagna 1982, dove era presente in rosa anche se sempre in tribuna
