  • Inward communication is needed by our bridges/nodes (Android/Pi3)
    It is enabled through the home Internet gateway devices

    First time install has 'outward only' bridge IP address
    Click on 'gateway' to load and log-in home DSL/cable modem
    Internet gateway example #1: Hitron - home cable modem
    Click on ''Firewall' then on 'Forwarding' tab
    Click on 'Add' and define a new rule to enable inward ports
    Add 'Name' of the forwarding rule
    Add port range 12600 - 12631 for the forwarding rule
    Add bridge IP address for the forwarding rule
    Click on 'Apply' to save the forwarding rule
    Click 'Add' and define a new rule for single port 12500
    Click on 'Apply' to save the forwarding rule
    Click 'Add' and define a new rule for a single inward port
    Click on 'Apply' to save the forwarding rule
    Click 'Apply' on this screen to save the 3 rules
    Select menu 'Settings' tab, click on 'Refresh'
    The bridge has 2 ways outward and inward capability now

    Click on 'Forwarding' then on 'Add New'
