He, first, I am always down for a 20 minute run down of an obscure god regardless of the pantheon. But I wanted to say thank you for your description of the story of before we were split in two. Most stories insist that each person was male and female. I've never seen anyone talk about how some were both male or both female. It may seem like a small thing, but its an inclusion that means something to a lot of us.

The worst part about Hades and Persephone (in my book) is that the main villain of that story wasn't even Hades, it was Zeus do to the fact that it was his advice (and approval) that convinced Hades kidnapping would be just fine.
Problematic starts aside, the rest of the mythology about Hades and Persephone as a pair has them be incredibly loyal to one another, to the point that they fave some pretty horrible fates to anyone trying to make one of their proverbial eyes drift away from one another.

I don't usually comment on videos and I apologise for commenting something completely unrelated, but I need to take advantage of this opportunity. I have been trying to find a folk tale for around two weeks which I could have sworn you have covered but I have found nothing.
In the tale, a knight or hero on a journey in the woods was told of a monster in it who had killed anyone who came near it. I believe the creature had some sort of special power which made it nearly impossible to kill. The knight encountered it and managed to kill it. After it is killed, the knight discovers that it was the parent of a small family of child creatures who then revealed themselves to mourn the death of the monster. The knight, horrified by what he had done left. A witch, who I think might have been the person who tricked the knight, then went to the place where the family of creatures was, and ate them.
I thought this was in your Baba Yaga video, but it was not. Did you have another Baba Yaga that was demonetized or taken down, as I remember the thumbnail for a Baba Yaga video you being a mildly suggestive picture of the witch?
Again I apologise for commenting something unrelated to the video.

@@JonSolo i personally think that all the myths involving Zeus and Persephone having Hades' kids is due to
      1) the different Hades names like "Zeus of the Underworld" and mortals think they meant Zeus himself
      2) maybe a misjudgement of character. Like Persephone and the snake was Hades getting kinky with his wife but mortals thought it was out of line for the god so they think it was Zeus who did the deed

One of the more messed up Greek myths I'm aware of is that of Hermparaditus. Hermaphraditus was the son of Hermes and Aphrodite, so he was basically the prettiest Pretty Boi that ever Pretty Boied and was so divinely attractive that men and women would regularly declare their love for him openly; he actually found this almost as amusing as it was an inconvenience. But things took a turn for the worse with one of his stalkers, the River Nymph Selkirka; I won't say what it was she did, mostly because that might trigger some people, but what she did do resulted in something immensely traumatic.
Hopefully, Jon will get around to Hermaphraditus before the end of the year, especially since he seems to be one of the obscure figures in Greek mythology in our modern day, and the story of Hermaphraditus might just have some cautionary tale elements to it as well.

ANYWHO, I commented how that dog was “the goodest boy“ only to get attacked by a very irrational woman for using such improper English. I tried to explain that it’s a joke thing that people say (I was very polite) but she was NOT having it, and just kept coming at me LOL… If you want to find that video & feel like throwing some agreement my way in the comments, it would be appreciate! I thought Medusa was born immortal, i heard in the video after Athena cursed her, she lived 1000 years turning people to stone, thats the 1st time I herd this version, Medusa turned immortal after her decapitation I assume, bc her head still turned people to stone.
