I Am saying this from a loving place as a mom who had no idea and realized to late!!! I love you guys, your family is the sweetest and amazing, but I think you might want to have Blakley evaluated for speech!!! Our oldest was speech delayed and I thought it was normal until we had our second they are 2 years and three months apart. She started saying words before one and by 2 was speaking full sentences. That’s when I realized something wasn’t right and felt so guilty, because our oldest might not have been as delayed if I had realized It sooner. She has been In speech for over a year and she is about to start kindergarten and vastly improved. Please don’t hate me for this comment you can Totally ignore it if you want and I won’t be offended!!!! I’ve been sitting here struggling to sleep my oldest I was telling you about is at her first ever sleepover right next door….but momma is still nervous lol, so I’ve been sitting her praying and talking to our father about my silly anxiety when I started watching y’all’s channel. Seriously love you guys she is your child and no-one knows what’s best for her but you!! Maybe pray about it and just keep an eye out!!!! I just didn’t feel right not saying anything but again she is your baby and you know what’s best!!!
This comment didn't age well... Blakely is narrating their every thought, feeling, and move these days.... She just needed an extra a minute to learn how to use her words, it was easy to fall a bit behind on account of how immediately responsive Nick and Lainey are to every little cry (plus Blakely is so intensely emotional, it was too easy for her to get overwhelmed and go from 0 to screaming in nothing flat--) but they've got it, now! If anything, Blakely's current verbal abilities are IMPRESSIVE, on account of just how much she understands and explains!
