Got my fingers crossed for ALL Arsenals youngsters...Hoping they're able to get a 1st team chance at some point.
All Hail Hale End🙌
Really smart to let the talent get s taste of 1st team training to keep them hungry
It doesn't look like he's got a size advantage like Obi Martins has. Very exciting.
he's only 14 bruv
@SuperSaiyanShawn I meant that as a compliment. Obi Martin is doing well but he's a foot taller than everyone else. This kid doesn't have size advantage and is still doing great.
Ahhh I gotcha misunderstood that
Your putting to much pressure on him ! Leave him alone.
The young academy players might be skillful but they need to spend much time in the gym to acquire more strength and stamina. These two ingredients are inevitable for success in professional footballing. Arsenal's coaches have what it takes to decide when any of them is ripe enough to join the senior team.
Would be foolish to overhype him, but this kid was 13(!) in January and was already starting to dictate U18 games.
Wilshere's been managing him well, only starts him in a few U18 games since this is his first proper year.
To actually get called up for 1st team training by Arteta is insane, but you can see he fits the mold of the typical Arteta midfielder.
I've read he comes from a family of Gunners so thats another great thing.
Having a youth player train with the first team, is not showing trust in youth players. Playing them in first team matches is. Arteta, for all his brilliance, is way behind other top prem managers, when it comes to selecting youth players for matches.
He can't do that before he wins EPL trophy.
