Bergkamp's is probably technically the most beautiful. Racing to intercept the long diagonal pass from De Boer. Under tremendous pressure in the dying minutes of an acrimonious game, showing great skill to control the ball, sidestep a defender, and point the ball to where in the goal it should be. CLASS!

It was commentary for the radio, that's why it's extra hysterical. It was later added to the video. ^^
It's normal for the scoring country's commentator to be biased i guess but... It still is one of the finest goals in football history ever ;-)
you should have heard the same man (Jack van Gelder) 2 days ago against Spain :-) He's the best. I like to watch tv and listen to him broadcast on the radio :-)

My personal number 1 would be Bergkamp's goal vs Argentina. It's the whole process and not just the strike. The ridiculous accurate long pass. Bergkamp takes it while running forward like a feather. The flick and then the soft finishing. Like in wonderland.
Putting Bergkamp's against Argentina in '98 at no:6 is just ridiculous.

2014 niet, 2010 had gemakkelijk gekunt als ze hun normale spel speelden ipv vies spel. 1974 en 1978 hadden we beide moeten winnen
ik mis twee doelpunten die Cruyff maakte in goals tegen België in kwalificaties. Een ervan is het grootste hoogstandje ooit gezien. Die moeten in de top. Een goal van hem in de partij tegen Argentinie 1974 was ook zeer goed. De afstandsschoten van Haan in 1978 zijn leuk, maar Rep had er ook zo een.

Ik ben het wel eens met van Basten op de eerste plaats. Het gaat voor mij niet alleen om de schoonheid van het doelpunt, maar ook op het belang van de wedstrijd. En een EK finale is toch net even beter dan een WK kwartfinale. Ik vind overigens dat de penalty van Neeskens in de WK finale van 1974 er ook wel in mag. Niet alleen omdat die goed genomen was, maar ook omdat de manier waarop de penalty tot stand kwam gewoon fantastisch was.

Een goal van Cruijff tegen België mis ik in dit lijstje! De goal een prachtige lob waardoor Oranje met 2-1 van de Belgen wint. Op doel stond een jonge Jean Marie Pfaff. De wedstrijd werd in 1975 gespeeld en was voor de kwalificatie voor het EK in Joegoslavië van 1976.

Can't agree with, for example, the Robben goal (No. 4). For a goal to be truly great, the goalkeeper must play it perfectly and still lose out.
really a goal that goes right over the keeper, in which the keeper had a large advantage over Robben isn't considered a wonder goal then your doing something wrong m8.

We don’t see this kind of goal very often.
Never again in my opinion. Goal ranking is not about striking the ball from distance because its hit or miss. Ball control and use of imagination should be given more weight.
