The age of girls to get married is still 18 years. It has been proposed to make it 21 years but the proposal is still pending and no amendment has been made till now in the Hindu Marriage Act 1955 regarding it.

She may or may not show off her love for herself. It's her choice. She should be allowed to do this marriage and should be allowed to divorce too is she wishes to. Just because it's not mentioned in the laws currently doesn't mean it's wrong or incorrect. Everyone's wishes and beliefs should be respected provided they don't harm anyone else.

I think the decision by Bindu is bit confusing and wrong. If someone loves himself/herself it doesn't mean to marry ourselves because in the long run we require a life partner . This self love is very much needed to be happy in life but after all we all are humans and we require physical and mental support of our life partner. Everyone gets into depression if we don't share our thoughts with anyone and in sologamy their is no support for ourself in older age .
