I have so questions for you, I was able to make an electric start harness out of this but over time it all stops working due to the CDI I’m guessing going out… how can I fix that and where can I find a rear brake lever kit for an Apollo bike
@@Cheaphorsepower I’ve looked on Amazon my problem is I bought the bike as just the frame so there aren’t any original bolts or screws, I bought a brake lever but don’t know what screws or barrings to use if any.

That’s the ignition signal or power wire for the coil. The solid yellow coming off the stator (magneto) is a power wire for headlights and recharging the battery it does the same as the solid white wire coming from the stator.

This simple harness I built is a great way to get running in a bind. The full harness is good too I just like to keep it simple and wire things separately to eliminate the interference from other add on’s like lights, starter, brake lights
Okay so I did this to my gy6 go cart also got all new parts needed for spark the cdi box lights up and yet I’m still not getting spark? Any suggestions you have would be much appreciated! Thanks!
If the cdi box is lighting up you have spark. Your spark plug is bad or if your “no spark” is based on the engine not starting you have a different problem.

Not needed. I’ve run a bunch of machines without. I also used a pz carb setup instead of stock
Can't you just run one wire of it too ground green then one wire too acc of stator
And u could run a toggle switch if u wanted too
