I appreciate trailers like this, that actually show you elements of the game without ridiculous hype or by just showing cut scenes. Thumbs up just for that alone!
I love Focus. They are the last mid-tier publisher around. They take a lot of risks and the majority pay-off. I'll certainly be playing this. Keep it up Focus; You're filling a void in the industry that needs to be filled. I also love Spiders, the developer, Bound By Flame is a very underrated and brilliant game.
I like how the demo was clearly designed for an Xbox One or PC so rather than get it working on a PS4 they simply blur out the button prompts so you can't tell what the button prompts look like. Sad to say, too, but when you land a hit in this game it doesn't have the impact that it should. He's flipping around with a gun and dagger yet when he slices with the dagger the enemy barely moves at all.
***** Looked extremely similar to Bloodborne to me (especially the way you attack with maces and dodge). And since I played all the way through the game, I should know. I suppose we can keep making guesses about a game we've both never played, but I'm just sharing my observations. Regardless, the combat looked fine overall. My reservations is whether it's open world enough and has anything to do beyond combat. Because the trailer didn't show much other than story and stabby stab or bludgeony bludge.

Looks great, I've played and enjoyed most of Spiders games (Mars: War Logs, Boundy By Flame, Of Orcs and Men, Testament of Sherlock Holmes) and this looks great again, hope they keep getting better as all of those games had flaws but were still fun at their core :)

I really doubt this is actual PS4 footage... From the blurred button prompts and the smooth framerate i'd assume it's the PC version. Would be very surprised if the PS4 version actually runs at 60 fps.
+Just Justin personally it didnt feel good to play. I never felt like my attacks had any input. that and the character being so spinny with his moves making my inputs feel delayed. personal preference

If this game is actually good I hope it gets the attention it deserves in the media. It looks better than Bound by Flame, at least initially.
