Looks like a cool 3s, I almost got this but with the price so high I opted for the maxx v2. This stampede should be priced in the 300 range that’s more appropriate.
the maxx was such a letdown for me, i was really surprised. that's crazy for you to say it should be 300 for the price of the max it should have all the upgrades this has so you got it backwards but for the love of God Traxxas just do a truck without a radio I am so tired of all these freaking radios everywhere I only use gt5 and just don't understand
@@jgrc73 well seeing as the stampedes direct competition are around 320, come on 480 for the stampede is out of control and yes maxx is also stupid expensive!!
At least it's $420 like the Hoss was, but with HD kit installed and thicker driveshafts. So in the Traxxas world, it's a better deal than the Hoss was for the same price. Still, $420 for a 3s truck is up there in price 😅. The Maxx is nice, but it jumps and drives like crap. Plus it breaks bulkheads all the time. And it's harder to work on. My experience. I sold mine. The Stampede handles better
I agree with this for sure Max is really fun in a huge area staying on the ground more or less in fact that the most fun I had with it, skate park backyard stuff fooling around stuff this is a better way to go I wish I figured that out before I spent all that money I've said to myself repeatedly in life
just bought one iam enjoying it a lot my first rc was a rustler 2wd big upgrade
