Bratwurst simple and tasty recipe

  • This recipe for the bratwurst is using simple ingredients and offering process to follow by itself. Berow - ingredient listing. Good options for tempriture control in ending process would be to use sous vide - but that's in another videos.
    For 10 LB of pork :
    4 TBsp - 50g salt + 10 g curing salt (Instacure #1) - 1.5%
    6 Tsp - black pepper - 15 gr
    4 Tsp - brown sugar - 20 gr
    3 Tsp - garlic powder
    1 Tsp - onion powder
    4 Tsp - nutmeg - 10gr
    1 Tsp - sage
    1 Tsp - margoran
    1 Tsp - coriander (ground)
    1 cup - 200 ML - dark beer or beer of your choise.

    Nice! I live in Wisconsin, where we have the world's largest bratwurst festivals. Once, when I was visiting in Zurich, and I ordered cervelat, because I wanted to try that traditional Swiss sausage. They ran out and substituted bratwurst without asking me. When it arrived, they assured me it is also traditional. :) I was like, "I know, I'm from a place that has multi-day long bratwurst festivals." :)

      Thank you for support. Have some ideas to make videos a little shorter and easyer to watch , but there is so many small things what i think it is important

      Regarding Generators - it is becoming too expensive , so stopped selling them ,but still doing cold and hot smoking , if any questions - just ask.
