I talked to the drummer and he revealed what JCM means. JCM are the initials of their bassist who wrote this song (bottom right in the picture) Jonathan C. Marinari

Also "143" was a shorthand for "I love you" that people used on old style pagers before text messaging. (1 letter, 4 letters, 3 letters) So that's how he would sign every page sent to his girlfriend, "143(jcm)", aka "I love you, (Jonathan C. Marinari)"

I have to say; I have practice tapes where is sounded even better. we recorded this months after we broke up.. so it was sloppy.. we were at odds with each other.. so the first take was the one that was good enough. I regret that now.. this song and other songs on Curtain Falls would have sounded so much better if recorded in a more positive environment

Thank you! As the drummer; I have to say some of our live performances of the song were much better. We recorded this after the band had split up. So, the raw emotion and energy wasn't there as much.

We did like grabbing some random food at diners and whatnot.. but we didn't party. we would play shows.. and kinda enjoy conversation after the shows.. if on tour; we just wanted the next floor to sleep on.

Also; my brother Casey(guitars in you and i) did a band Hot Cross(members of Saetia) back in the early 2000's. me, well, I fell of the face of the earth for awhile. Did drums for a few projects.. recently been writing music with my brother Casey.
