I tried this one, this is perfect recipe. I put caramel glaze it was good combination, chiffon not overly sweet. I didnt wait for 35 minutes, just check its dry with a toothpick, try this....wont be disaapointed

Hi, I just made this today. And it turned out really good! really fluffy and not too sweet. I changed the milk with pandan juice (with coconut milk). And also I made this with 6 eggs. I baked this at 160-165 C for 65-70 minutes. Thanks for the recipe! :D
Hi, I don't know how much time, but everytime I whip white eggs I always use the lowest speed of my hand mixer while adding the sugar in 3 batches. Then in the last batch, I use medium speed until the meringue becomes glossy.

A. 6 egg yolks,, 30 gr sugar, 90 gr veg oil, 50 gr coconut milk instant, 55 gr pandan juice (from 15gr pandan leaves+50gr water), 1 tsp vanilla paste, 150 gr cake flour, 3/4 tsp baking powder, 1/3 tsp salt. B. 6 egg whites, 1/3 tsp cream of tar tar, 150 gr sugar

Give this recipe a try y'all! You won't be disappointed. I wasn't. It was the classic chiffon cake we used to have during New Year in the Philippines. I did not had milk, so I used water (same measurement). It turns out fluffy, soft and sooo good. The texture didn't change the next day, it was so good with coffee. Nicely done chef!

I'm just going to make life easier for you all:) You're welcome! Steps: 1. Whisk together 4 egg yolks, 20g sugar, 60ml corn oil, 70ml milk and 1/4 tsp of salt. 2. Sift 100g cake flour and 1/2 tsp baking powder into egg yolk mixture. 3. Beat 4 egg whites with 100g of sugar. (Add in sugar bit by bit; stiff peaks) 4. Fold in egg white mixture with flour mixture. 5. Bake at 170c for 35 minutes. (I personally like to preheat my oven at 170c for 15minutes before baking)

Made this with my 9 year old today. Very easy recipe to follow. Added 1tsp of vanilla extract and greased the pan before baking. Outcome: it did become fluffy and big but when it cooled down it flattened. Still delicious. The whole family loves it

I’ve made it today and it’s super good and easy to make. Thank you for such clear instructions and right measurements ♥️ I put a little more milk (80-90ml, so the dough became as runny as in the video) and used grape seed oil. Super moist and tasty!
I baked a low cal version. if you don't mind some cracks on top, you can try to adjust the oil and sugar. For half amount ( 2eggs, 50g flour) I use 2g of sugar and 5g of oil on egg yolk, 10g of sugar on egg white. just a bit sweetness for the cake. but the texture of the cake is really good. very fluffy and yum! In total, the whole cake is no more than 300 kcal.

To make cake flour… take out 2 tablespoon of all purpose flour from 1 cup and replace with 2 tablespoons of corn flour . .. cake flour is ready to be used. If you don’t have corn flour can replace with custard powder, potato starch or milk powder too. Cake flour gives a fine crumb to the cake that’s all. Otherwise normal all purpose flour will give a good cake too.

May I ask if it’s ok to use a normal cake pan with no hole in the middle? Does it affect the cake? I’ve just tried the recipe and baked in a normal cake pan of 7 inches, took it out when it was cooled, the sides of the cake was really fluffy, but the middle of the cake wasn’t.

Did you use a tube pan or round cake pan to steam and did you line the pan with baking paper?

I baked at 180 ℃ for 10 mins then 160℃ for ten more mins.
I've tried this cake a couple of times and every time it's in the oven it becomes very tall and fluffy but once i take it out of the oven it sinks. Can you tell me why this probably happens?btw it tastes soooooo so good💕💕
Hi,maybe is the egg whites problem, you can try this,beat the egg white on high-speed speed until become bubble form,begin beat the egg whites on low speed added sugar separately for three times until firm peaks form,they become foamy and frothy it takes about 5-10 minutes to whip the eggs whites.

Maybe you can try this side.whip the egg white on medium speed until become bubble form, and then add 1/3 of the amount of sugar with high-speed whipping to the foam began to become detailed and expansion, and then add the remaining sugar begin whipping your egg whites on low speed until they become foamy and frothy

Hi Apron, this is my second bake from your recipe and it all went super. Just all first attempt and it did came out beautiful and yummy. Chiffon is my favorite and i have a lots of attempt and all is failed but since my moist cupcake turn well i also try your basic chiffon and I’m so happy about it.
