Whatever helps inform viewers on whether buying a case is worth it or not. It can be a gamble, but sometimes it pays off.
When Asmodee sort themselves out and get product to the UK stores I'm hoping that locally as many players as possible pull some shiny rapid X so I don't have to spend a fortune on them from cardmarket haha
I'm fairly confident that the market will be fairly established by the time UK gets the official release and it could be possible that it's even cheaper.
Another factor for rina is because of the waifu tax. So i don't think it will get that high of a price.
In some regards yes. Beelstarmon is also partial waifu tax but she is sub $10. But another contributing factor could be the reprint from P-Bandai.
I recently entered my first ever prerelease last week, it was really fun. However I was a bit salty when opening box because everyone got secret rares, unfortunately I was the only one to pull 2 alts, I really wanted that MagnaX or RapidX lol, luckily I got a Doru alt, one I really wanted, at least
Personally, this is why I stopped purchasing single boxes, because at least with a case I have some guarantee ha ha.
Dude I got 2 and both had no secret! Meanwhile this other dude at locals got a normal secret AND an alt secret in one of the secret slots 👀

10 boxes and you know how easy I had it lol. Pulled every card i needed a playset for including the SECs and got the 2 star Magna!

Alright Im curious how much did 10 boxes cost you and when did you purchase them
@@tausette3595 I purchased boxes under $80 a box including shipping. Not the best price but definitely better than what I've been seeing at the present.
Average box value across all the cases was about $110 a box
@@tausette3595 In regards to boxes, I purchased all my boxes about 2 months before the set dropped, so I have to always commit the purchase up front whether or not the set is going to be a resounding success.
Price wise, under $80 a box.

Heh. Love it when that happens. The biggest rare to be on the look out for is going to be Ukkomon.
This was exactly the kind of video i needed today. My locals opened 7 boxes that i know of and 6 of them had SECs. The only one that didn't had a special rare imperialdramon. So, i was starting to think one SEC per box was basically guaranteed.
Remember, even though I have 60 boxes of data to present, there's no guarantee. But it is nice to have some comfort that a secret is fairly common.

Opened an adventure box 2024 yesterday and got a magnamon x alt art!
Congratulations! The Adventure Boxes for me have been about average. But overall I think they're worth it.
Again anecdotal but me and my brother cracked three cases and got 4 secrets more magna x then rapid x but secrets do seem to be “easy” to get my whole store pulled a ton of magna and rapid sec. Pail was extremely hard to find I’m like the only one from my store that has a play set my bro gave me a alt he pulled at prerelease and we got one per box for the two boxes we bought. The rest we pulled an alt from prerelease and traded for one from someone else’s box. All in all idk if boxes or singles is the way to go but my experience is pretty close to what your numbers say so this video seems like a good guideline and very helpful so thank you! Also didn’t want the magnax and rapidx so I’m getting 2 deathX and a ruin mode for em shoutout Tim from my locals! And we also got 10 ukkos from 2 prerelease events each from bröther and I and 2 boxes so we spilt em and each have a ukko play set! All in all I think as long as ur not super unlucky boxes are definitely worth buying this set!
I think the only thing that would damage the value of this set is another restriction. But personally I don't see that likely happening.
@@DIGI-PANDA we don’t need a list. Ukkos are splashable but so what they’re consistency pieces. Magna and rapid are strong and even if they are the best this coming format it’s clear by current jp meta they don’t continue to completely dominate the game in the coming sets if they even completely dominate this one at all but I still think decks like tyrant mirage numemon and others still have a place in the meta. No one likes to see their shiny expensive stuff get hit.

I feel rapidmon one it stabilises it will float around $25 to $30 and magna will stay around $40 bc more splashable
I'm leaning 40-45 for Rapidmon and 55-60 for Magna for the time being. BUT I think this will change the moment we have an event.
The last time I did a real opening was for BT-9 and I got away with a Gaiomon alt art.

Cases seem to be hit or miss. I know at least one individual who's gotten 2 SP's in a case.
As for rapid and magna X. Something that helps it over Rina is that this set is GOLDEN. The SRs are all playable and or nostalgic meanwhile we look at BT11 for example, its kind of a terrible set even on release. And more still😊
In many way you're right about BT11 as a set - I would argue that a majority of the SR's aren't good and the set was mostly geared towards BWGX. However, in more recent times, some of these cards are very powerful. Ulforce and Mirage still see some competitive play to this day and even Mervamon with Anubismon was one of the biggest heavy hitters for EX5 Nats. But I will say the power creep is definitely showing and there are a slew of rares in BT16 that definitely make it worthwhile.
@@DIGI-PANDA absolutely but people sure as hell werent opening it back then to death, the only card that mattered was a single SR and a SEC that wasnt to good at the time sadly. Rinas Value was and has been waifu and lack of opening/prints and now it doing well in ulti cups which im glad for loved the deck
One statistic I would have liked to have seen was the amount of the lottery/chase rares that were pulled by either you or the other person referenced in the video
In summary? I opened out of my 2 cases. AmericanBash opened 2 out of his 3 cases.
Generally, I didn't want to include that data because anecdotally, is 5 cases enough of sample size to determine the rarity of the chase? I don't think it is but I will freely give that information as it was requested. For the most part if I had enough people actually logging their pulls, it's possible we could have an actual reference of how common the chase cards are. For the Japanese release, they were allegedly 1 per a case. But so far in my data, it shows to be more of a 1 in 2-3 cases which is normal.
@DIGI-PANDA You're absolutely correct, the sample size of even 5 cases total is pretty small. Maybe a better question would be out of the 5 cases total, how many if any lottery cards were pulled, and if you pulled them which one did you pull. I would be interested to see the numbers across 10 case openings and see what the results will be.
In my case, I got 4 of each SEC and no alts of either.
But I did pull an alt Rapid X, and an alt dorumon during pre-release.
Curious! Were four of your boxes double alt arts too?
@@DIGI-PANDA Probably, I only opened half the boxes myself, but I did end with 24 cards in the alt/sec slot.
I really hope the Uk stops getting delays on digimon booster boxes its getting annoying hopefully when the unified release comes to, it'll be much easier to get product out.

Also fwiw, in my case, I pulled 5 regular Magna X, 3 Regular Rapid X, and one alt Rapid X.
0/2 unfortunately. Out of the 5 cases for this video, only 2 SP rares were pulled.
I am personally splitting a case with a buddy of mine. I hope we get good pulls.
I might not have pulled an SP rare from my 2 cases.. but I will do my best to spread good will and luck to everyone else!

Personal metrics, I'm 1 in 4 cases for an SP rare.
Got bamboozled with no sp card in my case feelsbadman, also only 4 paildramon normal Art 6 rapid x 2 magna x and 2 AA magna x
Welcome to the no SP rare club :( But double AA Magnamon X is pretty good for a case honestly

Somehow in 4 boxes across wberything in second prerelease was 8 AAs. Well the two i got from that will help me trade or sell for the remaining stuff i need for magnax
Hot diggity! Congratulations! With pre-releases, it can be extremely hit or miss. I had some boxes where all the hits were on one side.
Yeah will hurt to get remaining 3 magna Xes a death x because going 1 death x 1 ruin mode im not running 2 deathx if i have a RM already, and 3 jesmon GX all the help will hekp. Thankfully dont need angewomons so can trade aces outside 1 AA and am willing to throw my 1 of for BT11 but it does suck when prerelease are straight from booster boxes for double AAs boxes this set. Which is funny considering most sets its the opposite or only 1 worth pulling
First prerelease people opened plenty between prerelease and boxes sold seal though since proper distribution so stands by not to rare

Based on the data I have so far, SP's appear to be 1 in 2 cases. I just happened to open the 2 cases that didn't have one ha ha.
@@DIGI-PANDA that includes the magna? Also the imperialdramon is consider a sp? Because in my region have been pulled at least 3 😅 so compared to the other sp or the magna it feels a bit too easy to pull
@@Crisoki I won't be able to give you a definitive answer on that one. From what I've seen, if you open an SP rare, it's the same slot as either the Magnamon X or the english exclusive Dragon Mode. So probably 1 in 12 case chances of it being Magnamon X?

No disrespect but I think you have your wording mixed up. You say statistically which is good but you should reiterate to people the gambler's fallacy. Opening two boxes does not mean that you will obtain those cards it means like you said in your own anecdotal evidence that's what happened to you and while I'm pretty disappointed at the results when it comes to p a i l d r a m o n but then again for Imperial Dragon and fighter and even Davis and Ken I have a playset already
No disrespect sir! Always appreciate any feedback on videos I upload. The gambler's fallacy is an excellent way to state that just because I present information here with statistics, does not necessarily mean you will have repeat occurrences or similar pulls. I appreciate that!
