There are plane traffic. Because you may hit an other plane. The ai can predict if 2 planes are going to hit. The ai calculates speed, acceleration and position of 2 plane to predict if it going to hit, Which triggers an alarm
For the people who don’t understand, here. Engine fire- Generally, an engine fire is the result of a flammable fluid coming in contact with very hot engine case surfaces. The nacelle compartment is fitted with many fluid ducts or equipment that contain fuel, oil or hydraulic fluids which are flammable fluids. Traffic-is a radio call used by pilots to alert other pilots in the vicinity of the presence of other aircraft. It is a standard phraseology used in air traffic control communication to provide situational awareness to other pilots in the area. Stall-In general terms, a stall is when an aircraft wing stops producing lift due to an excessive angle of attack. The angle of attack is the angle between the wings cord line and the oncoming airflow. The wing can be made to generate lift by reducing the angle of attack to an appropriate level. Wind shear- The sudden change in wind speed and direction that the aircraft encountered is called wind shear. Wind shear can occur at many different levels of the atmosphere, however it is most dangerous at the low levels, as a sudden loss of airspeed and altitude can occur. Overspeed- Overspeed in aviation refers to a condition where an aircraft exceeds its certified maximum speed, known as Vne (Velocity never exceed). This situation can pose significant safety risks due to the potential for structural stress and damage. Terrain pull up- If the terrain is viewed by the system as getting closer to the airplane and a crash into the ground seems eminent, The Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) barks out “Terrain, Terrian, Pull Up, Pull Up, Pull Up!” I hope this helped! I don’t know if these were obvious or not but oh well. (Also these were pasted from Google I did not word these just saying) 😅
Correction/addendum: "Traffic, traffic!" is the voice of the Traffic Collision Avoidance System or TCAS - it uses the aircraft's transponder and the other transponders in the airspace to calculate and detect traffic conflicts. If there is a risk of collision, it alerts pilots on both sides. If the risk is increased, it coordinates its actions with the other transponder and instructs one aircraft to "climb, climb now" and the other to "descend, descend now". Also very effective alarm clock ringtones 💅
I did a flight simulator a week ago and while I was pretty good for my first time, I got goosebumps when I heard “WINDSHEAR, WINDSHEAR.” And then a minute later after it stopped I realized I was heading towards a hill and it said “TERRAIN, PULL UP! PULL UP!” omg bro these gave me flashbacks in the video 😂
Stalling isn't half as scary as "TERRAIN TERRAIN! PULL UP PULL UP" as this warning only occurs when you're in immensely imminent danger and very very close to hitting into something nearby like a mountain Until you're that close, it will instead just say "Warning Terrain" in a much less frantic voice
As a turboprop flight simulator player, I agreed that whenever we hear the “stall” or “terrain pull up” warning we somehow get scared and run away from the device we use
On the “pull up” I think my dad would be scared because in the military, his friends went on a plane and it crashed into a mountain, and they all died….Thank you for their service 😭 bro I think I see a different emoji because you all are seeing the laughing emoji wtf
For people who don't know. The stall alarm literally means you have stopped flying and are now falling like a rock towards the ground/ocean. Edit: There is also aerodynamic stalling, which is caused by the plane banking too hard and losing lift under the wings. For example, you could be going 300 knots, but your plane is at a 70-degree angle. Even though you're sustaining sufficient speed to fly, the wings can not gain enough lift to stay airbourne.
not necessarily, it implies that the aircraft is not going at a sufficient speed to stay gliding, and that the wings are in a critical aerodynamic condition in which the wings have lost lift. the idea that it means the plane has fully stopped moving is a bit of an exaggeration.
The fact that C130s can fly through hurricanes is crazy considering in the military I only thought they were used for the transport of soldiers until today lol because my dad used to work on a C130J Hercules and he also was a crew chief at some point for it. He told me stories like the fact that one time a bunch of Raccoons raided a C130 and that thing could not fly for a while because they like chewed through most of the main wiring in the wings.
Context: Engine fire: the engine is on fire. Windshear: big wind coming infront of the airplane. Over speed: bigger speed than the max.
