I used to spend every summer there on Whistler Ave . Bowling alley was right down the street . Good memories 💕

I was a kid my Grandparents had place there in the 70"s great summers!!!!
Worked at "The Club" summers of '64 and '65. Some of the very best years of my life ( I didn't know it at the time) earning $50.00 per week plus room and board. Big bonus and tips at the end of the summer for those of us who hung around to close things up.
I landed a Cessna on the airfield (Elizabeth) field. Fun and challenging. Definitely recommend over-flight first to view the windsock. Field is short so

I believe that's all privately owned; so not accessible by the public.
Average household income is 50k according to wikipedia ……. Hmmm
is this place really that expensive?
The private part of the island is. The other part is cheaper than most other islands in the area.
It’s not New England but it ain’t a cheap place
Invest in a better camera if you’re gonna do these videos. The noise that cell phones pick up every time you change your grip is maddening.
And why didn’t you show the beaches, or some of the famous houses like the Linderman House???
I’ll chalk this up to inexperience.

I recorded this in 2016 and also I took the ferry here. There was only 2 hours before it left for the mainland so this was all I could record in the time.
