Georgia Tech's Interplanetary Spacecraft

Georgia Tech now owns an Interplanetary Ramblin’ Wreck - a briefcase-sized spacecraft orbiting the sun, capping a student-led mission in the cosmos. Undergraduate student Micah Pledger directs a team of 10, monitoring the Lunar Flashlight's health and communicating with it every day. The satellite is millions of miles from campus.
