Perfect Strangers is an American sitcom that ran for eight seasons, from March 25, 1986, to August 6, 1993, on the ABC television network. Created by Dale McRaven, the series chronicles the rocky coexistence of midwestern American Larry Appleton (Mark Linn-Baker) and his distant cousin from eastern Mediterranean Europe, Balki Bartokomous (Bronson Pinchot).
Originally airing on Tuesdays for the short six-episode first season in the spring of 1986, it moved to Wednesdays in prime time in the fall of 1986. It remained on Wednesdays until March 1988, when it was moved to Fridays. The show found its niche there as the anchor for ABC's original TGIF Friday-night lineup, though it aired on Saturdays for a short time in 1992. - Krátké a kreslené filmy

Yes Harriet was the elevator operator at Balki and Larry’s job.
Carl even appeared on the show with Harriet as her husband once.
I actually watched Family Matters the first night it aired in 1989.

Actor Sam Anderson is a fantastic character actor - he also played the principal Mr. DeWitt on Growing Pains. PLUS he was on 1 episode for all 4 seasons of WKRP in Cincinnati - all different characters! (LOL) He is great. (a very 'antagonistic' role in both Perfect Strangers and Growing Pains)
Don't forget ER too.. he's done a lot of TV.. Forest Gump too!
They all look pretty damn good, except for Mark Linn Baker. (And those who have sadly passed). He was so cute, but age is not fair in dispersing its wrinkles.

This is so frustrating to watch as I only made it through the first 3 seasons before Freevee took it off. I hadn't even realized it was available for the past year til just the last week er 2. This was the one show I always wished I could see again from my childhood. Besides 'NY Undercover'*(1994-1999)..probably helped I grew up in Brooklyn*, it's how young(er) people living in Brooklyn when 'Gotham' came out probably felt..that feeling of "hey, I KNOW that place!"
Must say it was pretty cool how they brought back Twinkacetti's wife as a whole new character after season 2..I liked her.
