Would love a follow up video for how much it sold for
$18k
The Vortech Centrifugal Supercharger was not stock and the gages on the A-pillar are aftermarket too. It's still a rare truck in excellent shape. The value depends on what the buyer is looking for. Some people want all stock and some will desire tasteful modifications. Hard to say what it will go for, my guess is $20k.
Good guess because he said it sold for $18k
Yeah, the gage pod on the pillar is not factory.
It's a beauty I hear auction wholesale prices have been dropping for the last several weeks
They have. I made this video back in sept
Keeping my eyes open for a clean '93 Lightning to bring back to Canada.
Have a 1993
@@mattbirmingham6236 For sale?
That thing is a beauty
Please make a video on how you close a deal, handle objections.
Just say:
"You're CRAZY if you don't buy this ride"
(I heard a rep say this to his customer once)
That looks clean
I think GM ss trucks in 90s that had 454 big block were trying to complete with the lightning
A friend of mine has a red 1995, love those trucks!
That is one Bad Ass First Gen.
I've got a1995ford lighting. Looks just like mine . Setting in my backyard not drove it in about a year.
Where is it located?
Sell it to me
For having almost 90k on it, it’s cherry for sure. Bring a trailer had one with 6k original miles on it supercharged and the bidding stopped at 25k and the seller didn’t take it back in ‘18. The early 2000s model is more coveted but this to me was the truck you modified to perform. I was a teenager in the 90s and with the right price I would throw my hat in the ring. I would of personally thrown no more than 20k at it.
Happy thanksgiving amigo saludos from San Antonio
Ford is the best
That one right there is gonna sell around 15 to 20k
was about to post something like that betting more for 15-18
Keep it.
Where my tacuaches at CUHHH
Sweet looks like Londonderry auction my dads always down there
I've got a question. How do I get my car dealers license without a car lot? I have about 10 grand sitting in my savings account that I could use to start moving cars but I don't want to buy property and take that big leap and put myself in debt and at higher risk.
I'm in Missouri if that makes a difference.
Fuel costs are going to soar, they usually do when those people get in office, so it may be cheaper than we think.
Original paint? Guarantee that thing has never seen winter.
Could be original paint but the hood isn’t since it’s not the original hood.
I want this truck
thanks for the video...horrible lens choice though. Way too much distortion
Nice truck
I know every time craig called it a car it made me cringe
I have a black one of those my dad bought for my first car but the rear end blew
Easy 30k in cali those single cab trucks are selling for crazy $$$
Wow, that was realy a clean car , why didn't you get it ?
15 to 18k
Hood, A pillar gauges, supercharger, bed liner and that ugly thing over the front windshield aren't stock. Oh, and its not a car its a truck lol. Only thing I'd change is removing that front windshield cover and tinting the windows. Lightnings are absolutely beautiful. I'd agree with others it should sell for about $15000ish.
That’s a 15-18k truck to the right guy
Since lady ga ga bought hers 1st gens have really went up
Yes they are factory
The A-Pillar gauges and the gauge on the right side of the steering wheel are not factory.
@@guys2nv yeah they are bro
@@FTW523. Umm no they aren't....Bro, sorry not stock. How do I know this you ask? Well, because I was with my Father the day he bought one of these trucks brand new off the lot in 1994 when I was 12yrs old lol.
Super clean truck but I would prefer the second gen all day
Man, I'm torn on this. 1 rare truck, as you said not a ton around. 2 it looks to be cared for. 3 you know the owner history. 6months ago I'd say buy it as it would be an instant sale and money maker. Today I'm not so sure, I've seen in my own hobby rare things being offered for sale that 6 months ago people were throwing money at. today these items are sitting around on multiple sites with comments "wish I had the money for this" and "I don't understand why this is still forsale". I think the reality of the pandemic is starting to set in as the jobs and stimulus dry up.
I’d say it will sell for around $7,500
I wish
cleans means stock!!!!
15k
I believe this is not the year lighting people desire its a nice truck I seeing maybe fetching $8600.
Clean gen 1 Lightning’s bring way more then that. That truck would be worth more if it was actually stock though.
The round body went 60mk 1st gen went sold for 8k sorry but I got my results from what I seen
@@Bymb2020 Umm, say what, what's 60mk? Can't decipher that gibberish you speak. This truck sold for 18k so I guess you haven't seen enough or much of anything about what these trucks sell for in this condition.
Short video but love it
I thought the lighting had the flare sides. Or is the in the 2002 model
Optional
Not in this year of truck where as the early 2000s only came in flare side. The 1st gen were short bed fleet sides only
@ Ryan - 99-04 2nd gen Lightnings are flareside only, 93-95 Lightnings are called styleside. Steven Gasperment - Ford "standard" bed sides are called styleside while GM/Chevy called their "standard" bed side trucks fleetside.
It will sell for $21,300.
Usually the modifications will keep the price down slightly but I’ll say 27000
40% to high or 10k more if you went to public school
I believe that was supercharged also.
That truck has an aftermarket SC but Gen 1 Lightnings weren’t SC from the factory.
@@guys2nv I just remember a friend of mine having the Lightning that was supercharged from the factory, he had the rounder body style not the boxy type.
That would be a Gen 2 Lightning, made from 99-04 on the 10th gen F150 body style.
I would love to buy this truck from you.
I've only ever seen one other Ford Lightning but it wasn't from the 90s.
💯
Craig you never told us the milage on the lighting. How are we supposed to predict what it's going to go for? Wtf
The sticker on the driver's door window says 80,000 miles.
80k
I am guessing 15k $ hopefully craig does an update video on what the lighting does at the auction
Did u buy it?
Investing in different streams of income that don't depend on the government to bring in money especially now the pandemic is hitting the economy pretty hard will be the wisest decision anyone can make.
Wise words you have spoken, I totally agree with you.
People make the mistake of waiting for the government to provide everything for them and if you ask me, it is totally wrong.
There are so many investment options out there, one has to be very careful in picking out a good one.
Investing might be good but investing in the right thing is the actual key to success.
Investing in the right things matter, I have actually invested into the stock market and also the crypto market trust me crypto trading is more profitable than stock investments.
So how much did it sell for
Where is the dealership dude I would love to buy a car from a dealership thats not sketchy. In the market right now willing to fly from NYC
Www.flying-wheels.com
Why not list in Hemmings instead of auction?
Quick sale. At when I did the video, prices were high
Only problem is it’s only a 2wd
I was at that auction it was a few months ago. But if I remember correctly it went for 15,500 or 16,500? In d lane?
Love from pakistan ❤❤❤❤❤
Do you ever come across s550?
Cool vid, quick question. Since you are in the Business, how much you think Chevy Dealership would charge me to have a Ignition Lock Cylinder and key made for this 07 Impala SS I bought.
Bought it at this Police Auction. I bypasssed the Starter, and got it started, but I wanna be able to start it normal now. Vs bypassing the Starter. Plz reply thanks!
16000
Which auction is it at? To place a bid
Dealer only. Car has sold
Hey!
15k in a sensible market but if two guys desperately want it ... who knows 20k +++++
Do you ship your cars to California?
$15K.
Had to be 20k
$18k
Nice thanks for the update!
how much did it sell for?
$15k
9.000 to 10.000
How can I start doing this?
syclone is best imho
$24,750
In ga 20-30k
17k
13 k. Adios🙌
10gs. Seller would be better off removing the supercharger and gauges. Collectors want stock
It’s got 90k in mileage on it. One of the few vehicles that would probably due better with the mods. These were heavily underpowered.
Gauges are not stock. My guess, considering it’s mileage would be 15k conservatively.
$25,900
Its a TRUCK not a car lmao
12k
20,000
$13,679
guess1 $18,200 guess2 $26,300
How much bro🐍
So an 80K mile modified lightning....so the hundreds of these with sub 10K miles on BAT ,and other sites ,are less clean ?This is a nice truck...however, It is not an invesment grade whatsoever... high miles/added modifications on drivetrain,interior,exterior......
While this seems to be a clean truck ,it's not a low mile ,unmolested example..
I'll say 5,500 doll
$12-$15,000 tops! It’s a 30-year old truck.
Thats what makes it a collector
Flying Wheels lol collector? Sure, bad taste is still a taste
@@dannyMCDelight So these trucks aren't your cup of tea, no biggie. Do you consider GMC Cyclone's, Typhoon's or 454 SS trucks collector vehicles? All Lightning's are still a collector vehicle though because of it's limited production numbers.
15000
The mods actually hurt the value
Quarter trap speed of 110mph? Doubtful.
Auction guess $18k. How'd I do.
@fender Or one hell of a supercharger!
$22,500
Ha creg I got a 1986 C 10 silverado with Ls3 in it.sharper than that truck.i might sell.
save your money for English classes

17500
Second
Not sure if you’re aware, but this is a truck.. sorry just busting your balls. Have a good day.
V6 Camry will smoke this
and the v6 camry will still be worth nothing and this will continue to go up in price
@@webmastersof correct
Probably be close since this truck has a SC on it but they are pretty heavy for a small truck. A new Camry also has 25 years worth of advanced technology in it. Plus, no one cares about new Camry’s as they just blend in with the rest of traffic while these old Lightnings get attention out on the road. Not to mention these trucks are appreciating in value while a new Camry will only depreciate in value.
No one is arguing that it will grow in value. The point is that you will be spending a ton of money to drive old truck who’s going to get smoked by Camry. Nothing special or revolutionary in this thing. I’d rather drive gmc cyclone
@@Ukrainianification What lol??? These trucks are crazy reliable, guess you never owned one then. Your logic makes no sense here man, sorry.... Let's talk about spending money here for a sec....This truck sold for 18k, hop in it and go. The 300hp XLE V6 Camry MSRP is $35,000....You do know $35,000 is more money then $18,000 right? If you didn't know that's $17,000 more then what this truck cost, you could almost buy two of these Lightnings lol. This is before any interest on financing and depreciation on that brand new Camry the second you drive it off the lot. Have fun learning basic math while you drive that Cyclone man!!! SMH lol...
