  • It was the end of the Roman Republic, the birth of Imperial Rome. A time of tyranny and treachery of grand public gestures and secret double dealings. In 44 BC Julius Caesar was cut down by his fellow senators. We uncover a conspiracy whose seeds were sown decades before the fatal blows are struck. We reveal how every action Caesar took brought him closer to death - and how his genius, his ego and his appetites led Rome to glory, and to near-disaster. He's been called both hero and villain. So have the men who killed him. This is the story of how Caesar came to die.

Really Marius and Sulla knocked the Republic down. Caesar (Marius' nephew) just finished it off.

👑Pompi the Great and Crassus, 2/3 of the Triumvirate, to Caesars consulate position secured, would allow Ceaser to surpass Crass's fortune and a military might and glory beyond Pompi, but, after 8 years of hardened soldiers, never allowed indolence or idleness, building, when not training or fighting Gauls fragmented 300 tribes, 800 cities, over a million killed, "in defense" of Rome, unprovoked and undying loyalty from his legions and all Romans, addicted to glory, Pompi, stood no chance and was beheaded by an 11 year old king, he demanded resources from in Egypt, put on a platter and delivered, Ceaser nauseated, that they had the audacity to do such, to any Roman, exacted revenge.❤️‍🔥

Yes . The budget must have been
      about $ 100. As for the " tabloid "
      script........words are inadequate.
