Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting - Engage Power to the ARFF Pump

This sill video will show you how to engage power to the ARFF pump.
NOTE: The information contained in this skill video provides sound, generic advice on the operation of fire department pumpers. While many of the basic principles are the same for all makes and models of pumps and apparatus, each manufacturer’s equipment has special nuances with which the driver/operator must be familiar. For that reason, the driver/operator should always consult the operator’s manual for the apparatus and pump being operated. Remember to always follow manufacturer’s recommendations and department standard operating procedures (SOP/Gs).
1. Proceed to appropriate location.
2. Engage the pump.
3. Make sure all gauges and valves on the in-cab pump panel are in working order.
4. Disengage the pump.
