It still is for high crushing + homing properties these days. Even JimmyJ would throw it out first move in tournament to catch them mashing jab/electric round start
Shit feels legit so nice just looking at the game, maybe its just nostalgia but goddamn is t5 vannila an awesome game, it just feels so much better than 6 and 7 in every way at least to me.
Isnt this the 3rd video illustrating this, that has been posted recently? Though i think this video has covered more information than the others. Thanks for posting
Probably is. I started doing content on tekken 7 characters in vanilla/fr arcade a few months back, before I could go onto older games people already beat me to it. Just how the CZcams game is. Now I plan to do videos covering my main characters in older games and go from there
On wake up in Tekken 5 there is 1 frame you can’t block, snake edge tracks both sides and has several active frames so it was easy to catch people tech rolling
2:18 THAT LAUGH
I like how Bryan looks here compared to Tekken 7. He doesn't look glossy and his hair looks realistic.
When Snake Edge was actually a good move lol.
Still is to climb out of yellow and green rank lol

How Bryan players see themselves
SNBF. You know what that means, if you have played tekken 5.
l played a lot of tekken 5 wen l was a kid... l don't know what this word means😞
@@lucianocruz3383 It is the name of the 4 most absolute broken brain-dead characters : SNBF : Steve, Nina, Bryan, Feng Wei in order.
@@lucianocruz3383 Steve, Nina, Bryan and Feng. The four characters people usually refer to when talking about broken characters in this game
@@Topbruv oh thanks l tought that he was talking about a set up or a move😂
@@nz536 Devil Jin and Asuka were kinda broken too. AI didn't know what to do against Reverse Infernal Destruction and Asuka's super spinning kick.
You forgot one thing: It's his laugh.
I don't know who thought b+1 being a normal hit mid launcher and being *plus* on block was a good idea.
I mean the whole balance of that game is fucked up by today's standards, so it's not that hard to understand a 20f slow mid plus on block launcher.
Same person who made Hei's 2~2,1+2 a natural i10 punish with guaranteed follow ups.
it's been like this since Tekken 3
Fun fact. Bryan's snake edge is the best way to actually do that sweep IRL. Everybody else's version is much worse in some way or the other.
Bless for this! 🙏🏻
13 jet upper....fuck...
Great video!
Should have ended the vid after 121 snake edge. Probably the cheapest oki situation in 5.0 after nina uf1

QCB 1 should be a move in tekken. Give it the QCB 2 properties from this clip.

Theres a group of like 4 recent Tekken posters competing against each other lol

@@Topbruv i mean i cant complain since i enjoy those flashback vids.
@@TJCombo2 I’m glad people enjoy it, it’s fun breaking down characters in older games
FF4 should launch on normal hit.... in Tekken 7
Can someone please explain to me the tech trap/snake edge bit, I don't get it.
On wake up in Tekken 5 there is 1 frame you can’t block, snake edge tracks both sides and has several active frames so it was easy to catch people tech rolling
@@Topbruv So does that mean Snake Edge has to be timed or could you just straight up do it once they're grounded?
@@jamessummers5936 Guaranteed on tech or if they stayed down. Fairly straight forward input if you expect a tech roll.
@@blazerspitter2068 So could you avoid it by standing straight up and then immediately blocking low?
Tekken 5 Bryan was the best iteration of the character ever. He's too unorthodox in Tekken 7. Can't get into using him.
Does anyone know the name of the song?
Nevermind, I found it: Secret Garden Stage Theme
