Andrew Hanson WTF Is your comment? It Is as if we're discussing what kind of bread Is the best and someone suddenly comes and talks about Jesse Eisenberg.
woah that battle was sick! but I just can't come to terms with the the reasoning behind Jin's defeat. the overall scaling with akuma makes perfect sense they just glossed over one important detail, Akuma is canon in tekken! he appears in tekken 7 as a integral part of the story. if the scaling really made sense it would still end up putting ryu an jin on much, much closer power levels. in a canon fight with with heihachi not only does he survive (heihachi ) a fist to fist confrontation but also survives a Shun Goku Satsu and is able to get back up to throw a punch in 10 secs and that is a "regular human" and jinn's grandpa no devil gene. Akuma also battles Jin"s father kazuya in witch he is near equal considering jin and kaz could be scaled equally in death battle this would put jin at a level where he to could best Akuma, or at least blow for blow. I'm not saying that with this alone jin should've won but to not even mention this after using akuma to scale seems like a total cop out. its just whak that they wouldn't mention this because canon akuma vs kazuya clips are used in the video. And the independence day laser wasn't just trying to kill kaz but also akuma. i get that they were grasping straws to find something to scale but ignoring this entirely purposeful whack af
Not only that but kazuyas devil laser he shot against the satilite moves close to, if not faster than the speed of light if you think how fast it traveled all the way from earth to where the satilite was in space. This same laser that not only jin possses himself but heihachi has dodged mutliple times. If taking this into consideration, it means that heihachi is faster than the speed of light because he can dodge the laser and its safe to assume jin is faster than heihachi which also makes jin alot faster than the speed of light. With this feat i think jin should win imo.
Tekken!Akuma is considered an entirely different one from the original SF Akuma. He has no feats that support using the original’s feats, and is pretty much different down to his literal character, meaning it cannot be used as a basis for scaling. It’s the same reason we didn’t have ShovelKnight scaling to Kratos or the BattleToads, or Ryu in Asura’s Wrath, or Sub-Zero and Raiden to DC characters or Spawn. Crossover characters do not automatically justify scaling them directly. Cause you know, they’re just crossovers And this is also why they included Haggar’s feat from Final Fight to Akuma in Akuma vs Shao Kahn, cause Akuma had an equivalent that supported it’s usage(notice how they only compared him to the explosion visible from orbit, and not Haggar drilling into and out of earth)
“And in that moment, something dark swell from within Ryu’s consciousness. A force so fierce and destructive, he couldn’t contain it. So he lashed out” *salt*
Its well animated, but most of the fight? Its just a freaking redone of an episode of RWBY. Hell the back round they used was from RWBY. That to me felt like they were either being lazy, or just felt like promoting RWBY. Again.
@@22kingdomheartsfan 1. Saying most of the fight is redone would be wrong. It is split 50:50. ALSO, they used the same set but differently. It isn't redone more than just using the area for more dynamics. Probably some promotion put in there though.
Fun fact: according to the images from the SF Alpha game, Ryu was just a couple of feet away from Akuma when he did the island destroying punch & they were fighting in a cave. Therefore not only Ryu survived the force coming from that punch (for him being pretty damn close to it when it happened), he also survived having the entire cave (or most of it) crumbled on top of him. The uneasiness expression showing on his face as he’s floating also suggested that Ryu didn’t see the punch coming & had no time to run away from the cave.
I think another rule is The character who is getting really beated probaly gonna win But just applies sometimes, like Batman Beyond Vs 2099 Or Iron Man vs Lex Luthor
I can see why someone would like this but I prefer beerus v galaxia but maybe that’s because I don’t know a lot about Jin or Ryun and beerus is my fav dragon ball character
Corey Griffin especially speed, given his feat for defeating the 5 bounty hunters before a drop of water could hit the ground, and frequently deflecting and dodging storms of bullets.
In light of Tekken 8’s Release, Devil Jin’s a Planet Buster And that ending only depicted his first form. And we see him canonically use his telekinesis against Kazuya
It isn't really stated that he's a planet buster. At most they are strong enough to destroy an island. So at the very least they can now take on sf canon akuma, but ryu has probably surpassed him already.
@@ezronco.8671 How about you stop being a typical SF fanboy Azazel has statements of planet level power in T6 and T7 and briefly in T8, let alone Jin and Kazuya fist clash shockwave eclipses Earth in size Also stop with the "at most are strong enough to destroy an island", cuz thats not their limit, also Ryu never ever surpassed Akuma, SF5 still has Ryu even with mu no ken below Akuma, let alone satsui no hado which Dhalsim took a punch from in story too

Unless there was a ryu and akuma fight in sf3 or 6 i didn't know about.
@@ezronco.8671 First of all, they arent questionable and even so dont act like SF doesnt have the same even so Second of all, Akuma impresses Oro by his ki he felt from him alone, meanwhile about Ryu he says he has a long way to come that is in SF3 and nothing in SF6 implies Ryu has reached Akuma level, if ever since alpha 2 till SF3 he still falls short to Akuma, assuming he does now is unfounded Third of all, even if we entertain the idea of Ryu scaling to Akuma, their best feats are island level and not from the alpha 2 feat, its too small and its destruction is nowhere near enough to be on that range, how you destroy something abd hiw big it is matters for your info, like how destroying Jupiter > destroying Earth Fourth of all, Tekken has has better feats and lore backing up that level of power, unlike SF, simple as that
Scorching a small portion of a planet does not make him a planet buster. And we don't know how Azazel was going to destroy the planet. Unless you want to argue Lars and Raven are planet level for defeating him, it was likely overtime.
And yet Ryu is still shorter than Jin. He's too chunky and his limbs are half the length they should be. Don't believe me? Compare his SFV model with the female characters. You'll see that they're all taller than Ryu - Even Sakura is.

I am still a tad salty ganondorf lost though, even though it was pretty clear after researching dracula that he didn’t stand a chance ...poor king of evil can’t catch a break. He gets btfo in a death battle while dracula taunts him every second, he’s the worst/one of the worst, characters competitively 3 smash games in a row, and in the most recent Zelda game, his beast form, calamity ganon, was an absolute joke and really just a “cinematic” final boss, and not even remotely a challenge.
A magnificent fight and thank you for not having forgotten the mastery of Satsui no hado for ryu knowing that he can also reach the form of Shin ryu where he has a Red and blue ki mixed in 2 parts, I just find it a pity that he didn't finish Jin with a Shun Goku Satsu even though it's true that Ryu's Finish him mark is more of a Super Hadoken
Scorpion also won because there is only one thing in Ryu's moves that could kill him: The Raging Demon. A move he specifically is not experienced in and in a state that Ryu actively avoids entering when he can. Plus, Scorpion can just take the battle into his world's hell and continously grow in strength with no defined limit.

Ryū doesn't mean "prosperous" or "plentiful" or "abundant" or anything like that at all, Ryū is Japanese and it specifically means Dragon

BL4ZE IT me to, the animation was crispy👌
Years later and watching this fight still gives me chills.
woah that battle was sick! but I just can't come to terms with the the reasoning behind Jin's defeat. the overall scaling with akuma makes perfect sense they just glossed over one important detail, Akuma is canon in tekken! he appears in tekken 7 as a integral part of the story. if the scaling really made sense it would still end up putting ryu an jin on much, much closer power levels. in a canon fight with with heihachi not only does he survive (heihachi ) a fist to fist confrontation but also survives a Shun Goku Satsu and is able to get back up to throw a punch in 10 secs and that is a "regular human" and jinn's grandpa no devil gene.
Cause you know, they’re just crossovers
And this is also why they included Haggar’s feat from Final Fight to Akuma in Akuma vs Shao Kahn, cause Akuma had an equivalent that supported it’s usage(notice how they only compared him to the explosion visible from orbit, and not Haggar drilling into and out of earth)
Also, this video was made in 2016 while Tekken 7 is made in 2017
It's stated to be a different Akuma tho.
Except... This is NOT Capcom Akuma, this is Bandai Akuma you're talking about.
Bandai's Akuma is ten times weaker than Capcom's Akuma
Ok I'll be honest, this was a really well animated fight. Props to the animators.

I love how street fighter insists their characters are human and then have them survive something as ridiculous as that.....I mean come on
@Itachi Is superior to you completely agree especially Batman that dude is clearly an alien lol

No doubt now to wait for an epic Samurai Showdown, I wanna say that Jack will win but I don’t know anything about Afro Samurai
Man, fans have been asking for Jack vs Afro for a very long time. This should be good.
Webberjo jack has a massive speed strength and experience advantage
Unless Afro has his headband...
Corey Griffin especially speed, given his feat for defeating the 5 bounty hunters before a drop of water could hit the ground, and frequently deflecting and dodging storms of bullets.
No snap of Thanos.
I love afro but I think that Jack has a lot more episodes of feats to draw from.... besides his sword was forged by most of the old gods?!
11:10 That didn't age well
In light of Tekken 8’s Release, Devil Jin’s a Planet Buster
And that ending only depicted his first form.
And we see him canonically use his telekinesis against Kazuya
It isn't really stated that he's a planet buster. At most they are strong enough to destroy an island. So at the very least they can now take on sf canon akuma, but ryu has probably surpassed him already.
@@ezronco.8671
How about you stop being a typical SF fanboy
Azazel has statements of planet level power in T6 and T7 and briefly in T8, let alone Jin and Kazuya fist clash shockwave eclipses Earth in size
Also stop with the "at most are strong enough to destroy an island", cuz thats not their limit, also Ryu never ever surpassed Akuma, SF5 still has Ryu even with mu no ken below Akuma, let alone satsui no hado which Dhalsim took a punch from in story too
@@blackdarkness6798 dude no need to be hostile i don't remember much of tk6 and tk7's story enough to remember how strong azazel was. I was mostly gong of of jin's statement in t8 when kazuya tried to destroy the island. Also i thought he was going of of the questionable canon endings in the series. Also sf5 takes place before sf3 and sf6 how can you be sure that ryu hasn't surpassed akuma yet when we haven't seen these two fight in sf3 or 6 with a clear winner. Unless there was a ryu and akuma fight in sf3 or 6 i didn't know about.
@@ezronco.8671
First of all, they arent questionable and even so dont act like SF doesnt have the same even so
Second of all, Akuma impresses Oro by his ki he felt from him alone, meanwhile about Ryu he says he has a long way to come that is in SF3 and nothing in SF6 implies Ryu has reached Akuma level, if ever since alpha 2 till SF3 he still falls short to Akuma, assuming he does now is unfounded
Third of all, even if we entertain the idea of Ryu scaling to Akuma, their best feats are island level and not from the alpha 2 feat, its too small and its destruction is nowhere near enough to be on that range, how you destroy something abd hiw big it is matters for your info, like how destroying Jupiter > destroying Earth
Fourth of all, Tekken has has better feats and lore backing up that level of power, unlike SF, simple as that
Scorching a small portion of a planet does not make him a planet buster. And we don't know how Azazel was going to destroy the planet. Unless you want to argue Lars and Raven are planet level for defeating him, it was likely overtime.
Damn the animation is really good.
I know right!?
Everyone else is arguing about the winner and I'm just here being blown away by the animation quality....

Akuma?
@@mrkickbutt7636 Akuma.
Fans: How did Scorpion win again????
Ryu vs Scorpion came way before Akuma's other more OP feats. The only thing for Ryu at that time would be tanking the island disintegrating.
Finally. Samurai jack vs Afro samurai. This is gonna be good!
