Great video, was able to pull it off after black chins wasn't working out for me. got it first try after watching this, ironically, the exact thing you warned about happend where i ended up speccing both times with the arclight instead but i managed to finish him off quick enough with arclight

great video! For any viewers, I'd like to say this. If trying to replicate his method, I would recommend bringing a defense reducing weapon (d warhammer) and special attacking at the beginning of the fight just ONCE. Then, instead of using a crystal halberd use dragon dagger special twice (or 3 times if recharged) and then swap to archlight to finish it off.
No hate towards OP. Great video and it inspired me to get the CB :) but I think the method I mentioned above is more reliable.

I found ice barrage was way more reliable than chins for killing the spawn on phase 3. Finally managed this after 5+ tries with a dds. Nice vid.
died at first attempt with chins, 2nd attempt failed. Switched to magic and it went a lot smoother. Did fail the first attempt with magic but got it after that.
man this combat task was hell and I hated every second of my attempts. Ended up doing it with chinchompas, ice barrage never did it for me and neither did crystal hallberd, had to do it with dragon dagger spec

1:49 i found blood spells worked way better than freeze. Then i used VW spec for final phase and finished with 1 or 2 fang pokes.
is fang better than arc here?
@PSunnyFx based on experience, i find fang out dps's arc purely because of its hidden ability. Reddit states you basically need max str gear, including avernics, for arc to be better. But im sure someone may disagree.

Idk, what I’m doing wrong. The first wave of scions in phase 3, no matter what I do, they just won’t die and mature before I can kill all. Ice barrage, blood barrage, chins, I tried it all… I have 99 magic and ranged too lol wtf
ouch sounds rough you in bis mage or range for them? prioritize dps over acuracy perhaps to just 1 shot them? think about anc over ahrim occult over anc etc. it is of course a bit of luck requiring task. wish you luck on your endeavours ! you can do it!

Gz, unfortunately that's how RNG is. And the tasks, especially the harder ones, are REALLY dependent on RNG.
