We have finally designed the Warthog, a vehicle from the masterpiece game Halo, which has many fans. As always, this time I tried to describe every detail.
Because the Warthog is a vehicle that appears in a game set in the distant future, it is very different from existing vehicle structures. Additionally, it is a convertible-like vehicle without a ceiling. I once built a Willys Jeep without a ceiling, but it was boxy and very simple in shape.
In order to express this complex, futuristic, and convertible vehicle in a folding structure, the folding structure became very complicated. The reason the structure became complicated is because I wanted to express the detailed shape of the lower body as much as possible.
Although it is such a complex structure, if you fold only the lower body, which is the basic framework, the rest of the parts are very easy.
It is recommended that you carefully identify the positions of the protrusions and holes before inserting them.
Be sure to watch the video closely for the process of creating this basic body.
For stable printing, custom supports were made and attached to the windshield and body parts. Be sure to cut it before assembling.
Other features include: ‘L’ is written on the left tire and ‘R’ is written on the right tire to avoid confusion about the tire pattern.
And the machine gun (Gatling gun) was designed not only to rotate 360 degrees, but also to rotate the barrel.
As I was trying to express the machine gun exactly like the game, there are some small parts, so please be sure to check the video and photos for the location and shape of these parts. It may also be helpful to refer to game photos.
Please watch the video to learn more about the printing and making process!
I'm very excited to finally be able to answer the requests of Halo fans.
We look forward to happy printing for Halo fans!
Please enjoy~

oh my...😍 Can this be scaled up if I purchase?? Not sure what kind of files I am receiving.
Yes you can! This file is STL for 3D printing! Please enjoy~
Hey there! I just bought your file and was wondering if you how big the warthog was exactly once completed. I’m trying to convert it to a 1/12 scale :)
Cool design! What kind of glue is being used?
Loctite brush on super glue.
ㅑI use this glue. www.shop.fab365.net/loctite
What filament make/color did you use for green parts?
I used Olive green at this filament link. www.shop.fab365.net/lerdgepla
Thanks~
I used Olive green from eSun, it worked perfect.
We need hog rider on this
😅😅😅
When ever i print out any of these models the joints are fused and never bend, i dont know why it does that. I have a ender 3 pro and use 0.6mm nozzle with the 0.4mm setting as i have found this works on nearly all my prints it even happend when i used the 0.4mm nozzle. I also use a glass bed and auto level 🤔, if anyone can help i would be happy.
The tolerances are pretty tight, you could try reducing flow slightly or if you’re using Cura add a small negative horizontal offset.
I can get the joints to bend okay but smaller things like getting the turret barrels to spin are wishful thinking depending on the filament.
make somtin to 3d print in resin
Pena que a suspensão não é funcional........... 🙁
