- Srinagar is the largest city and summer capital of the Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir in the disputed Kashmir region. It lies in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, and Dal and Anchar lakes, between the Hari Parbat and Shankaracharya hills. The city is known for its natural environment, various gardens, waterfronts and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts like the Kashmir shawl made of pashmina and cashmere wool.
We were in Kashmir few days ago..

Its population is very less thats why, to be honest I don't blame only Indians for dirty streets because the gigantic population and small area is not very easily manageable, but yes, the fact that the government has not done anything for the problem is shameful
