More density in a neighbourhood isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Too many rental buildings and more affordable housing don’t get the green light in Vancouver because people are scared of losing their “community.” The community will just expand
Oh I definitely agree! And very happy that they will be rentals. I’m mostly sad of losing the character homes in exchange for a generic condo
@@graymatsen your worries are valid! Prices increase too, but I also just hate the generic condo look. So many in my grandparents Logan Square Chicago neighborhood and it just sucks the uniqueness out of the area.
