I got a shiny suuuuuper early on. After i got the pidgey and rattata in the tutorial I starting cooking (cant remember the recipe) but I attracted a shiny lickitung straight up :3

I'm sure they all taste like chicken with the right seasoning so why not, pikachu would be the first to go
Getting a Share Stone, the light blue one, is absolutely incredible and a must have! I have an Omystar with both a Share Stone on it’s move withdraw, which shares stat moves by 25% onto your other Pokémon as well. In addition with another stone, the green one (can’t remember name), which adds an additional 25% time limit to stat buffs. My team becomes sturdy as heck, and withdraw has a fast cool down meaning your entire team is constantly beefed up on defenses across the board.
Confuse Ray and Barrier/Harden are super valuable. Increasing width and amount of Confuse Ray beams helps with those Dodrio and strong Bosses like Gyarados because it causes them to hit themselves for 10k+ sometimes. I was able to go through the last half of the game using Magneton with Confuse Ray with an Onix/Alakazam with Friend Boost stones and defense moves. Hope this tip helps 👌👌
i only had trouble with gengar and dodrios, my shiny magneton and shiny voltorb just wandered in for the daily pokes so gyrados was ez cause cloyster had barrier and magneton had charge, put share stones on both, entire team got atk up def up and resistance to negative effects up for gengar i used 2 alakazams and a slowbro
took ages to set up tho

Psyduck, Magnemite, Drowzee are some that I know of off the top of my head, but Im sure there are many more.
Got a Psyduck with Confuse Ray very early in the game, it becomes more effective when you stack that stone that lets you attack twice.

[+1tip] if u get a drowzee and it has 2 moves make sure it has the healing per wave bingo bonus evolve it when evolved get flatter for 1st or 2nd move and get barrier for 1st or 2nd move the put the move set like this flatter [greenstone] barrier[greenstone] then for hp and atkk stones focus on hit heal, crit dmg, crit rate, and resistant to ⬇️ effects [ flatter will make the npc stronger in both atk and defence but it wil confuse it so it will ko itself/barrier makes a defence boost/i recommend using silver or gold pot for drowzee]
Use machop's bulk up with sharing stones and Starmie with hydro pump. Look for fighting move wait reduction bingo bonus lots of health for Machamp, water attack percentage bingo bonus and lots of attack for Starmie. Get as much hit healing as possible. Watch how you literally destroy every boss without problem and cruise through the game.
I never got a stone from the expedition bonus
Btw, my wife, 4 boys and myself play this. The $30 was well spent. I bought it and all of us were able to benefit from the purchase. We all got it!

Whenever I try to make a muligin stew ala cube it always ends up as an onix I only want another eevee to evolve into the vaporeon and flareon I started with an eevee to get to jolteon so ima watch ur recipie vid to help me with normal type food

Thanks for the tips, one thing I would like to add to this is, type of moves to use for each pokemon ar key as well. Dont go with the highest attack every time, such as my Persian has scratch with 200 something attack and a lower one like scratch that hits multiple times but at a lower 160 attack. I recommend using door #2 because each hit will add up and have a better chance of hitting multiple wild pokemon instead of just 1.

I think I'll wait with the DLC. I played through all of Magikarp Jump without spending any money, and while it'd be nice to speed getting new Pokemon up I'm fairly patient. Welp, if I enjoy the game enough I'll probably buy it, but for now I'll see how things go as a freeloader. :'D

Sad fact though. I don't run my DLC lax/lapras. It's actually...a sad fact that anything out of the bottom two pots that isn't shiny will also be retired. Or candied into a 60+.

One thing: don't call "buying DLC" a tip isn't fair to f2p players coming to learn the most effective way to win with their limited resources (which are less limited if you buy the DLC)
