- Multiversus. Nerf Taz please featuring some dank memes :D. Multiversus Taz Gameplay, combos and mini guide on why he is pretty strong. Although today a patch came out nerfing his tornado so whether he is still good is yet to be seen. Don't take title too serious.

Bug Fix: Fixed a bug that was preventing Taz from doing any aerial attacks once he reached his air special limit.
- Air/Ground Side Special:
If you have been following early access, Taz’s Tornado has been dominating his character kit and presenting a non-obvious knowledge check for newer players. By reducing its effectiveness we hope to improve his gameplay health and loop and bring the game to a healthier state for newer players.
A decrease to the tornado's duration and the additional duration gained by passing an ally.
Removing one of the multi-hits of the tornado.
Decreasing the hit pause of all the hits in the tornado.
Reduced knockback from the final hit in the tornado from 1375 to 1275.
Right now, our plan is to transition the Tornado to a cooldown move in an upcoming patch. The tornado is Taz's signature move so we want to keep it as one of his most powerful attacks, with the cooldown forcing more intentional use of it. These nerfs will reduce Taz's strength, especially at higher levels of play, so expect some buffs to the other moves in his kit in the near future. Thank you for your patience and we will continue to evaluate Taz’s gameplay health.

They shouldn't. People should just know to air-dodge after an attack with strong launch.
It's not smash, if they hit you and you dodge, you stop the knockback instantly.

Superman is his weakness, his tornado can’t move in his ice breath
I think that slightly increased time and damage taken in windup, along with less duration or movement speed while in his tornado would balance. Also taking away the century long stun-lock when hit by it, by using a quick launch rather than practically a mousetrap.
I think it’s kinda crazy to remove taz stun lock when every other character has their own. People just hated on taz bc he obnoxious as a whole.

1v1 Taz is easy af to punish tornado spam, but a 2v2 is a whole different beast. Glad he's getting nerfed
To me, Taz tornado isn’t as bad a Finn’s bag, you can clearly see the tornado starting the bag move just starts
The only thing that works iv noticed against that tornado is wait for.the recovery frames and punish. thats still not long enough for a move like that.

Easiest way to beat Taz tornado is do use Tom and Jerry and do the special with Jerry on a rocket
If you guys haven’t tried new Taz give him a shot. His cool downs feel fair and tornado for some power back. The second hit they added to his Up Spike is great too

i got one of those twitch drop codes and played taz while grinding to unlock my boi reindog, but while in a match fighting a velma, i have no idea what happened but it was like she got stuck in the stage and she went from like 15% to 330% before she was able to escape from that one spot and from me going ape s*** on them seeing what happened lol

I joined multiversus after the tax nerfs. He was my first character and I still love him. I feel good about playing him since he’s not as degenerate anymore. Wish I could do more in terms of combos other than spamming specials until you hit one and kill the opponent but oh well. Still my fave looney toon growing up

Honestly his most broken move is soup. Can be done in air and ground. And spammed back when someone’s grapple/sandwich/special spamming as it’s incrementally faster than most other specials.
I’ve noticed people got good at avoiding tornado or hitting you in the brief charge up window. Soup OP.
