The only difference between the R and RS/Moto2 electronics is that the R doesn't have track mode, as Triumph said at the press release "the R has exactly the same electronics package as the others with the exception of track mode but it's been tuned for better low and mid range with maximum torque the same as the others but found lower in the rev range and designed to be the ultimate middleweight street fighter" sounds good to me.
For starters, the praying mantis is my spirit animal, so I’m a fan 🤣. That’s a good question though, I feel like the moto industry trails behind autos in many areas…it could be that the moto consumers aren’t as demanding regarding certain tech (which could include headlights), or that the price is still a bit too high to include the tech at a reasonable price point, or that designers and engineers haven’t figured out how to make use of the tech in a meaningful way 🤷♂️…all questions and no answers!!

For the money, you get more power, reliability and electronic suspension on the MT10SP
Can’t argue with that, it’s hard to beat Yamaha reliability 👌
All true but it's not like for like. The focus of these bikes is very different and most people are gonna like one or the other.
Triumph looks better.
For the money? MT10SP is $4600 more than the 765 RS ... MT10SP also weighs more (+55 lbs) ... but why are we comparing 750-class to liter bike class.
I put a down payment for a moto2 edition and plan on riding it on trackdays more than street.
Definitely going to make for some fun track day riding!
Why are motorcycle headlights so far behind in design & tech? There's so much potential to do something cool. This just looks like a praying mantis.
