Universal Orlando Travel Day | Aer Lingus via Dublin US Pre Clearance | Endless Summer Surfside

- It’s TRAVEL DAY and we are on our way back to Orlando, this time for a February Half Term week at Universal Studios Florida.
We start the day at Manchester Airport to fly with Aer Lingus to Dublin, to then transfer to our plane to Orlando.
In Dublin we also go through US Pre Clearance.
On arrival in Orlando, we go through the new Terminal C and use Uber XXL to travel to Universal Endless Summer Suites and arrive at our 1 Bedroom Suite.
We then quickly refresh and head to Islands of Adventure to ride some of the Marvel Land Rides.
We then go into City Walk and try Red Oven Pizza.
We are joined on this trip by the girls cousin Grace.

Me as an American: “Why did you get there 3 hours before?!?! For a domestic flight I typically get there within 45 minutes to 1 hour”
Because it’s international flights, meaning more security and clearance to do.

Do you guys ever plan on going to SeaWorld, Busch Gardens Tampa, or that Mermaid Exhibit at Weeki Wachee springs on your next adventure to Florida?
Thank you. It was a long day, but super worth it.
We have been discussing doing Discovery Cove and the Sea World and Busch Gardens package, but we think we may wait until Sienna is old enough to swim with the dolphins and ride all the rides. If we went now, we think it may be a little unfair to her for all the waiting around she would have to do.

Especially when Epic Universe opens in 2025. I’m sure Sienna and Scarlett are super happy about that to look forward to at Universal!! I’m afraid not, we use our credit card, to get points, then pay it off that month. We buy our park tickets direct via our Travel Agency Hackett Family Travels. We’re contactable via Instagram and can help others.

Yes, for the 5 of us, it was about £1200 cheaper and was a really easy process

How come you don’t get a car ? I think you need one in Orlando it’s a must have I think
Depends what our plans are. Car hire is expensive in Orlando and Universal charge to park the car at the resort.
One of the benefits of staying onsite is you don’t need a car and we just Uber when we need to go offsite.
Other trips we have had car hire because we have done more offsite. Always depends on our plans.
@@HackettFamily oh I get you! 30 dollars for car park fees in expensive tbh but the freedom is fantastic while having a car I like to go out for nice meals and nice restaurants are separated
@@user-ro2pe9vn3z you’ll see in the series we still do a bit of that (trips to Outlets, Celebration, Orlando Magic, Disney Springs) and I think in total spent approx $300 over the week on Ubers (including back and forth to the airport).
A car would have been approx £450 for 5 of us plus luggage, parking of $17 a day plus gas and tolls.
Uber is great and much less stressful.
There are times we do hire a car. Just not for this trip.
