  • Hey guys it's a little early for the year marking it exactly but I was compelled to make this video and it's mostly for me to look back on and see how far I've come in the coming years but if you get something out of this that's really cool, stay safe and be aware this mentions triggering topics. If you or someone you know is struggling with this there is the national suicide prevention hotline at 1800 273 8255 or the sexual assault hotline at 1800 656 4673 please feel free to reach out to me if you think that will help. All of this is just my thoughts this year and my struggles please be kind.
    Also sorry if I seemed nonchalant at any part of this it was just emotionally draining to make this video it really kicked my butt. Stay safe.

    It almost sounds like trauma is similar to depression.
    I have 100% conquered my depression. I had Major Depressive Disorder. It’s not that depression goes away!
    When you have MDD, depression comes back again and again. When you are recovering, depression comes back again and again. When you are completely cured, or if you never had depression in the first place, depression comes back again and again. Blissfully happy healthy people feel sad sometimes. That’s what normal means: having emotions.
    The difference is: When you’re cured, when you’ve listened to advice from everyone on earth and picked out the good advice and cured yourself, you simply have all of the coping skills . . .
    to handle depression, when it inevitably comes back.
    It’s almost as if depression is an intimidating neighbor or a dark cloud that keeps coming back into the room every few days. When you develop the coping skills to handle him/it and to convince him/it to go away, you begin to realize that you’re stronger than he is (and faster and smarter) and you’re not afraid of him anymore.
    Then, when he comes back, you’re not worried. You’re not anxious about his coming back. You know exactly what to do, and you take the time to send him on his way again. It becomes a familiar chore. A chore you have to do *less and less* often as time goes by.
    Fighting him off and sending him away takes energy and time, but as you grow stronger you find you have the energy and you have the time to do it. And you know how.
    And you realize that the dark cloud of depression doesn’t serve any useful purpose. There’s no downside to sending it away, whenever it appears. Nothing is lost; everything is gained.
    I’m not saying I know anything about trauma, or anything about anything, but maybe the memories of trauma are similar.
    Let’s talk.

    I’m so sorry that this happened to you. 😭 But thank you for telling your experience and letting us into your life. I hope this helped you release some emotions. And I hope you get help if it’s needed for your journey to healing.
    I did a hard video about my moms murder. It helped me release my emotions:

    Sorry that happened to you. Same here. Quick question. What’s your reason that telling the police is a bad idea?

    • @Kamehalani
      @Kamehalani  Před rokem

      Because they re traumatized me

    • @Kamehalani
      @Kamehalani  Před rokem

      What happened was they just sent me around to different stations and basically didn’t care. I should have went to the FBI considering he took me over state lines and SAed me but the Medford Oregon police didn’t care and neither did Reno
