Since the Tang Dynasty, there have been legends saying that the Guan Yin Bodhisattva is the Princess Miaoshan. The story of Princess Miaoshan, the third daughter of King Miaozhuang, who saved her father and achieved success in spiritual cultivation. Since the Tang Dynasty, there has been a legend that the Goddess of Mercy Guan Yin Bodhisattva (Avalokiteśvara) is the daughter of King Miaozhuang.
According to Guan Yin legend, in the past there was a wonderful, beautiful Kingdom. King Miaozhuang had a fierce personality and often relied on force to fight against neighboring countries. In his country, the ministers were always trembling when the King saw them, for fear of accidentally violating his rules and bringing upon themselves the scourge of life.
Merciful Princess Miaoshan's Childhood King MiaoZhuang had been in power for many years, and he had no son; he only had three beautiful daughters. The three Princesses were called Miaoqing and Miaoyin, and the youngest daughter was called Princess Miaoshan.
Princess Miaoshan had many special qualities since she was born: when Princess Miaoshan was born, a fragrance that emanated from her body and filled her room, and everyone around her could smell the refreshing fragrance. When she was born, there was a glowing rainbow sky, which was visible all over the royal palace. Princess Miaoshan was clever and bright since she was a child, and she possessed insights beyond ordinary people. When she was born, colorful aerial clouds surrounded the palace. She was able to recite poetry as a child.
One day, the three princess sisters were playing in the royal garden together, and the elder sister Miaoqing said: "We were all sheltered by our King father and live a happy life. I hope that we can remain together forever."
The second sister Princess Miaoyin said: "Elder Sister, people often say that there is no feast that will last forever, and we are women. Once we get married in the future, how can we always be together like this?" The youngest sister Princess Miaoshan smiled and said nothing. When the two elder sisters saw that she was silent, they asked her what she thought. Princess Miaoshan replied, "Life is rich and glorious, just like the clouds in the sky. It comes and goes; nothing is permanent.” I only wish to have a pure land, something like a mountain where I can spend my whole life cultivating and relieving the suffering of all beings." Two elder sisters became speechless after Princess Miaoshan replied.

妙善公主 千手千眼大悲觀世音菩薩的故事
從唐代開始，中國民間已有千手千眼大悲觀音菩薩為妙善公主的傳說。《觀音得道寶卷》中云：往昔過去劫，北闕國有個妙莊王，王后名叫寶應。妙莊王性格暴躁，經常依仗武力與鄰國爭戰。在國內，大臣們見了他也總是戰戰兢兢，生怕一不小心觸犯了他而招來殺生之禍。
皇宮時期
妙莊王在位多年，膝下並無子嗣，唯有三個女兒，長女妙靜，二女妙音，最小的叫做妙善。妙善公主，妙善公主自幼生來即有許多與眾不同之處：誕生時唯聞異香滿室，宮女人人都能聞到那一股沁人心脾的芳香，五彩祥雲環列皇宮上空同時滿天霞光，遍布宮中。妙善公主自幼聰穎明慧，具有超於常人之見識，初生之時，幼年時就能吟詩作賦。
有一天，三人在花園遊玩，長姊妙靜公主曰：「我等姊妹生活幸福安樂，並常得在此遊玩，但不知今後能否常得如此」?
二公主妙音則說：「天下沒有不散的筵席，身為女子，我們一旦出嫁，跟隨丈夫，怎麼能常常如此相聚」？二位公主正在熱烈討論之時，唯獨三妹妹妙善在一旁微笑而不語。兩位姐姐見她不作聲，便問她有何看法，妙善公主對曰：「人生富貴榮華有如過眼雲煙，平生唯願得一清淨修行之處，將來修行圓滿，再度化人間眾生，解救六道眾生之苦厄」。二姐妹聽完默然不語。
時間飛快，轉眼三位公主相繼長大成人，妙莊王準備為心愛的三位公主招贅夫婿。唯獨三公主妙善不肯，妙善公主一再對父親表示：「終其一生，唯願靜心深山中修行，其他一切榮華富貴，非吾所願，祈望父王能體恤女兒的一片誠心」 。待續...

Green Tara Pu Sa personally came to visit me in ICU back in 2018. On the first encounter, I bowed to her with great respect while she spoke to me in Sanskrit language. On the third day in ICU, she walk into my ward sitting on beautiful giant lotus flower n spoke Mandarin to me. Later after months spent at hospital, I finally checked home for recovery journey. Again she paid visit to me through my dream . Beautiful moments with her. Amitofu 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you for sharing this wonderful story, Abbess Master! I am a little confused about when you said Guan Yin Pusa is a Buddha. In this case, how come she is still considered a Bodhisattva if she already attained Buddhahood? Kindly advise.
Thank you for your great question. I am happy you raised this question to me. We already prepared series of story documented from buddhist texts to explain "Why Guan Yin Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva already attained her Buddhahood become Buddha but she still appear herself as Bodhisattva to delivery her great compassion teaching to all beings?" We will launch some videos in few weeks, in November to explain. Even though, actually Guan Yin already attained her Buddhahood, attained her enlightment as Buddha, but she still choose to continue appearing as " Guan Yin, Avalokiteshvara" to benefit six realms of beings because her great compassion heart "Bodhicitta". I gave series of Guan Yin stories, each Guan Yin Avalokiteshvara story delivery various theme to all begins according to Buddhist texts. Wish you will enjoy. Of course, Miao Shan could have just married, have the protectors help her with housekeeping as they did with the chores in the monastery and yet, have the story end the same way...
On the other hand, without monasteries one wouldn't have these kind of stories as few take the time to realize that *nothings lasts* , that everything is transient, including sorrows - big and small and the only 'progress' is that very realization.

It often happened to most of people, whatever happened to us (externally or internally interrupted us or we experienced) , it can be anything. We can not stop them. Therefore, the good method to practice is "let it go", because if your mind can remind claim and without reacting to it, then it will disappear by it own. Hope this helps. Wish you have good day.

Hi love from India Can someone please tell , I learned Reiki 1 attunement few days back and even I interest towards occult meditation and same day in my dream very beautiful young lady in white rob extremely beautiful with almond eyes but her structure was just like net white clothes . Just like a very fair youthful appearance with dynamic Aura. She entered and instead of healing someone else ,she came towards me. Before i could decide and I was little afraid as I dnt know what was happening before i could decide,she just throw energy on me like some magical energy thrown with both hands from the front ,and it was like an energy felt and I got shaked up and got up. So I searched on internet because she has features like Chinese , big almond eyes .Can anyone tell what was that , it was all white like some goddess with brithness ,i am sure not like human so i thought to check ,is there any goddess or i saw her in the dream. Or i saw Guanyin ,or is there any other goddess so who represents white attire. I would appreciate if someone can reply.🙏
I am trying to understand because no angel came in my dream like this.
Perhaps she is Guan Yin or maybe another goddess. But it is best to give thanks and let go. Be careful not to get our pride up, and practice chanting Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa. @@GCBPTemple Many years ago I came to own a small statue of Guan Yin . I felt a special bond to her even though I had no clue as to who she was . It wasn't until many years later did I learn who she was .

Ven. Nagarjuna met a disheveled, old man on the road. The old man asked Nagarjuna for his eye. Nagarjuna say OK and gouge out his eye and politely gave it to the unworthy old man. Going on his way, the old man just throw down the good eye and step on it. Very, very mean old man. He told Nagarjuna to give him the other eye. Nagarjuna said, "screw you" and went on his way. The old man was mean, and wasted the first eye. Why should Nagarjuna give the dsheveld, mean, ungreatful old man another eye? He is not even related. This was just a chance meeting on the road. In the story, princess gave her eyes for her father the king. They were related. Nagarjuna got a harder test. Nobody like that old man. He was lucky to get one eye. Go to other side of road.....
