It’s crazy how cjya was able to 100% the game in 3 hours with the brand new speedrun tech he found called video editing!
Honestly, the speedrunning community can learn something there I think.

unironically, my favorite part of these videos has been seeing cj get creeped out by the talking flowers and slowly starting to like them
The fact that the flower always wondering(pun) what EVERYTHING TASTES including GOOMBAS...is weird, but i have a good idea...what it can be...
The talking flower can't eat...only water...but he can barely taste anything of water...and he keeps wishing he can taste things...and always thinking about tasting stuff...(the time he said to the slime Luigi..."you look tasty" was a bit of a joke...)
He is harmless...and always cheers you on...but wants to taste stuff in the world...
To be fair, for some of the flowers the only way they can experience the world is through taste and sight. As they only have a mouth and eyes (probably ears too somehow)
I interpreted it as, due to being plants, they likely get their nutrients from the ground (one mentions his roots in one stage) which would mean they don't/can't eat typically (one does slurp the player in slime form) despite having "mouths"
They're probably obsessed with eating because it's a concept they have little to no direct experience with, and thus are highly curious about tastes
@@OriginalGameteer this is also my theory...i don't think he's...obsessed, but he wants the abbility to eat and taste things... not nececeraly Mario or his friends...and he makes a joke about calling Slime Mario tasty, but he does not take it seriusly...he's just someone...or someones...who cheer Mario and his friends on

I actually felt violated when that happened lol. When I went back to it after the wonder seed it thanked me for the tasting lol.
@@mxsslng In the first level where you turn into a Wubba (the slimes), the flowers keep saying things like "I wonder what you taste like." and "What flavor are you?" The last flower just before the Wonder Seed "slurps" you.

@@SubZero2812 he say “Look at me!I’m the Wonder Flower!” And when he goes into the lava he says something like “Ah!Hot!” Don’t worry,he flys out the lava before saying that.
I'm devastated at how easily you did the invisible section of the final final stage. I spent hours on that!
For me that was the jetrun section, it took me soo long but once I made it to the invisible section I got it pretty quickly, I guess it depends from person to person what's a hard badge and what's not :D

This just furthers my theory of Nintendo really just wanting to release some rhythm heaven, but putting it in Mario instead.
this game was so incredibly fun and I had such a good time 100%ing the game myself. I really enjoyed seeing your reactions throughout your playthrough and I was amazed by how you so masterfully cleared the final invisibility stage of that last badge challenge when I struggled so damn badly and "cheated" my way through with emote spamming along the way lmao excellent content as always, mr. ya

I know this video came out 6 months ago, but the final boss of this game reminded of Thumper, a pretty unique rhythm game for PS4. Considering how much he liked the boss fight, he would probably really enjoy that game.
I wouldn't be surprised if those sound effects from the secret badge were originally placeholders during development.

I missed the top on the final final stage three times in a row and just decided I didn't care enough to replay it a fourth lmao
great job i also just got 100% a second time i did a few days ago got bored played through the game invisible then on saturday deleted everything and now i have 100% quick tip if you want to 100% again with grinding flower coins for those standees i found running through the sugarstar trial in world 3 using nabbit and the hat badge and dieing before you get the wonder seed a bunch of times very helpful
