Always a great and useful content!!!
Ty Christian for always being supportive, glad to have you as a valued subscriber.
S/o to agent of change, Youâre definitely a difference maker. Iâm officially an Amazonian today. Thanks for all your thorough explanations in your tutorials. Salute đ
Congratulations Gordon! So glad to hear my videos helped your Amazon quest. Keep rocking and keep learning!
So much information and no wasted time. Not to mention it was actually entertaining to watch. 10/10
The amazon STAR method is flawed beyond comprehension. It focuses too much on the STRUCTURE of the scenario/story telling and not focus on the outcome and overall the scenario itself. Interviews should always be based on experience and how a scenario was resolved. What the interviewee has to offer, their personality, and their capability.
STAR is mumbo jumbo to judge your technical jargon and sentence/verbal structure.
Just because they can answer in a fancy way does not mean theyâre qualified for the job. Let their actions be the judge.
Thank you very much! This is the best video content i ever found on answering behavioral questions for a technologist. Also, you touched on how the answer is inline with AWS principles.
Glad it was helpful!
The best teacher on youtube when it comes to the cloud.
lovely stuff
Very well explained. Thank you, Tushar
It also covered customer obsession :)
Just wow. Thanks Raj.
Short, crisp and undoubtedly an awesome video! Thanks Raj!
Glad you liked it!
very good concise explanation, appreciate it
Hi Raj, your videos are top notch and I will recommend subscribers to always take your Udemy lectures. They have really improved me beyond my expectation. Great job Rajđđ

Great example, thank you.
Glad you liked it!
Amaaaaazing , thank you so much
You're welcome đ. Thanks for watching
Loved your videos sir, Kindly make a couple of use-case videos explaining how traditional business is migrated to AWS from start to end, explaining the whole architecture, I have seen "This is my architecture series from aws" but they are explained the way to quickly, so If possible consider my request there are not many resources explaining the " how the whole aws cloud migration is done"
Liked your udemy courses too, kardo na bhai :)
Hahaha, okay Shiva, I will do this in either next week or week after video!
@@cloudwithraj Thanks bhai jaan!
Very insightful and practical. Thanks very much for sharingđ
Glad it was helpful!
Seriously, probably the best. Straight to the point and how dare are you not trying to sell your training services.
Hahaha ty Oleg for the kind words! Thanks for watching.
Would never work for Amazon but love your channel! Thank you!
This means a lot David. Thank you!
Thanks, Raj!
lovely video
THANK YOU!
Awesome example. Thanks a lot
Glad you found it useful Ashit.
I am from Oracle PLSQL background profile .I would like to switch over my carrier to AWS .
Could you please guide me which are the core AWS services which I should focus which will help me to make fast move :)
Brilliant video!
Thank you! Cheers!
To be honest, the example of migrating microservices from PCF to EC2/K8/Serverless seem pretty hypothetical and generalized. It just really depends on how detail the interviewer wants, and when you get detail enough there is always something you don't know, and to them they might think they just expose you...
I already ave the idea about many aws services on the basic level but I need to get an idea upon how these services are implemented in real time. It would be great if you could tell me a path for it. Also please make a video on security features of aws.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will keep this in mind.
Thank you for the videos and everything you do, I got my AWS SA offer
Fantastic Varun! Ping me once you get your laptop! Welcome aboard.
Superb explanation.
Glad it was helpful!
bro, I've been using the STAR method probably before it was even a thing... I can BS and build you an engaging story from start to finish. I got an interview tomorrow, but I'm still concern, I'm more worry about questions regarding OSI since in that department, sure I've dabbled in it from time to time but never on a professional level, I get what it is and how it works but talking about it, I know I'll struggle.
Excellent explanation đ
Thanks Shyam, good luck!
Well explained
Thanks for watching!
Interview in 5 days. I've interviewed already in 2019, so I should have a good idea of what to expect, but it's good to brush up. This video is helpful. Is it ok if I'm explicit with the principles? For example, "I EARNED TRUST after DIVING DEEP in a customers problem...etc" ?
Yes, that is totally fine!
@@cloudwithraj Awesome thanks. I've been hearing mixed things on how to answer this question. I think I'll follow my instincts (ARE RIGHT A LOT ;-)
Thank you very much đđ
You're most welcome
Good stuff, helped a lot.
Awesome, thank you!
Thank you for the tips
Yw Paul!
Thanks. I always had a thought that using "we" shows that you're a team player. Need to change this thought I guess.
I was under same impression too honestly. I adjusted it during my interview prep while reading through the guides.
When youâre interviewing for a professional role, we is confusing. We doesnât help us see if you can solve problems and lead on your own. Itâs got to show proof from past actions that youâll be successful.
Nice video dada
Ty Sneh
You make amazing videos .
Thank you so much đ
Nice!! Im working for give a good interview tks!!
Best of luck!
Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
What tool did you use to have the red dot in the presentation
It comes with google slides bro
how long it took amazon to give feedback? Itâs more than 5 business days since I did my loop but still no answer, is it a bad sign? When should I follow up with recruiter? Thanks
Generally 5 business days. It's no sign at all, sometimes it takes longer coz of number of interviews and when interviewers meet to discuss feedback based on their calendar. Good luck Nik!
Thank you for the good explanation, i liked the Bad and God answer that you gave
Thanks Oussama for watching. I am glad you found it useful.
How about a video tip on how not to get PIPed at Amazon?
Iâve got an interview for an L3 position tonight and Iâm getting really nervous about the interview.
Best of luck James, you will crush it!
@@cloudwithraj thank you. I think I did fine. They only asked two questions. I absolutely nailed the first one and stumbled across the finish line on the second one, but I used the STAR method throughout both of them so Iâm hoping Iâll get some points for that. I also have three other Ops managers that will 100% vouch for me when they all get together to deliberate about the decision.
@@jamesbrincefield9879 Great job!! Let me know what you find out. I will send good vibes and prayers towards you đ
@@cloudwithraj i was told off the record last night by the hiring manager that I got the job. He said they still had a few more interviews to finish up and then the offer would go out the week of Nov. 1.
@@jamesbrincefield9879 Amazing job and congratulations! I am so glad you got it!
Hello , for the sample question ,the answer was perfect for senior role but what about a person who sitting for entry-level or an associate level. what example can he give? Any inputs, please.
Answering in terms of academic or volunteering experience is where most successful entry level candidates will focus. Just explain the situation, complexity and importance of your contribution.
I was asked in Amazon interview that due to mistake of your co-worker a mobile pricing Rs. 50k was written as Rs. 15k on the website of Amazon.. And 10k people booked it immediately.. Now What should be your action next.. Will You send the mobile to customer at that 15k only or what will you do as retail associate?? What should be my answers sir ??
that question is a very good question...that good question can give a heart attack to an amazon seller.
I was lucky to have 3 Amazon interviews over the past 4 years but flubbed them all. I wish I focused more on the 14 principles. :/
Keep trying and practicing, and you will crack it for sure. Best of luck. Hope this video will help you in your next time preparation.
@@cloudwithraj Thanks. I appreciate it. Got really close last year. On site face to face. Clicked well with the interviewer's, but I repeated some stories and I don't think I played up my leadership skills.
eon001 what if I want to apply for Amazon Non IT jobs? Why is it so hard? I have to pay $2000 for a job coach in order to get into Amazon
@@annielin2894 I would not pay for a coach unless you secure an interview. Practice before hand and use the youtube resources during that time.
@@eon001 actually the person who is charging $2000 used to work for Amazon in the IT dept or HR she probably knows what key words to put in so the ATP HR software will pick up and get an interview. Do you think it is still worth it?
Why does this show up as recommended? Does Google think I would want to work for the actual hellscape that is Amazon?
A little niche star story, not very relatable for those of us not in that line of work, regardless this did explain it better than most, I canât complain much
Is that a data dog in your lap?
Hahah nice one bro
@@cloudwithraj Hi Raj, I have a telephone interview lined up for the role of TAM role in amazon. Asked to prepare for leadership and some technical aspects. Any suggestions from your side?
Big companies right here... Microsoft was excluded. Amazon probably prohibits them to mention Microsoft's name. It's funny.
Insane! You canât just migrate a microservice from on-prem to Lambda serverless frontend by API Gateway. I wonder how you managed to pass WBS.
Bengali will be Bangali where ever they go
