Dastak - 2024 | Painting Exhibition | KCP

Khalsa College Patiala organized a painting exhibition and sale under the title Dastak 2024 by the Department of Fine Arts. Apart from the Fine Arts Department, the paintings created by the students of various departments were exhibited. On this occasion, prominent businessman Darshan Singh Dhaliwal was the chief guest. Surjit Singh Rakhra Honorary Secretary College Governing Body, S. Charanjit Singh Rakhra and S. Satwinder Singh Tohra Member, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee were specially present and former college professor Kamal Sohal also joined as a special guest. On this occasion S. Dhaliwal while appreciating the paintings created by the students congratulated the head of the department Dr. Manveer Kaur and a prize of Rs 10,000 was also given to the students who made the painting. S. Dhaliwal also said that this skill of the students enables them to grab better employment opportunities. Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha Principal Khalsa College Patiala welcomed the guests on this occasion, he also said that Khalsa College Patiala always strives for the overall development of its students. He proudly shared that the paintings displayed in the exhibition have been bought by the Rakhra family for encouraging the students. Dr. Manveer Kaur, Head Fine Art Department thanked all the guests, staff and students. On this occasion, besides others, Deputy Principal Dr. Jasleen Kaur, Vice Principal Dr. Harwinder Kaur, heads of various departments,staff and students were also present.
