DIY Spring Wreaths // How to make 2 spring flower wreaths!

  • I'm using up my floral and greenery stash and making a couple fun spring and summer floral wreaths! This style of grapevine wreath is really fun. Just gather up some flowers that go well together, including a few larger flowers and some smaller flowers. Then gather up a few kinds of greenery in the same color tone. Start by adding your greenery, then your larger flowers, then smaller flowers and any filler and finishing touches! These wreaths are absolutely stunning and perfect for spring!

    I love using stem remnants to lengthen or strengthen other stems. Most recently I fortified the tulips from Michael’s-the larger, pricier tulips have large stems but they’re mostly hollow with a thin wire inside-and they were so much easier to work with! I enjoy this type video. You did a good job designing both of them, but my soul is craving the brighter, warmer colours of the first wreath.

    Thank you for sharing all our knowledge! It was because of you that I decided to start my own wreath business. I am a homeschool mom of 4 with my husband in school and I wanted to bring in some extra income without having to leave my house and so far I'm loving it! I've made 6 sales so far in one month and have another going out tomorrow! Also, I love the red cabbage rose one the best!

    Gorgeous! I’m officially obsessed with this style for spring!! I just wish someone would give it an official name so I could do a proper search for them lol! I’ve made up some of my own names and also tried just searching them through a description like “angled spring grapevine wreaths” but I haven’t had a whole lot of success. Also, I’m so glad to see I’m not the only one who creates my own mini picks! Nothing goes to waste😆 plus they are super handy!

      Thank you! Yes, I’m obsessed with this style too! They’re similar to crescent wreaths, but those have the florals going around the shape of the grapevine more. And yes yes yes about the little picks! With florals costing so much, we’ve got to use it all!

    Hi Jenny! Thanks for the video. How do you ship a wreath this style? Use a bigger box than you normally do? Wreaths are so expensive to ship I find myself resisting this style because I don’t want to buy bigger boxes or pay more to ship even though I really love this style. Thanks!

    • @JennysWreathBoutique

    Hi Jenny, have you any advice on hanging these wreaths outdoors? Would you recommend spraying the flowers with a fabric UV protector spray? Thank you so much. Love watching your videos.

    • @JennysWreathBoutique
      @JennysWreathBoutique  Před 2 lety +1

      I just recommend having them on a door that is at least partially covered so it gets some shelter from the elements. I’ve had great luck my my wreaths outdoors with no sprays or anything on them. Maybe take it inside if you’re going to have a storm. But I don’t have any recommendations for protective sprays because I don’t use any.

      @JennysWreathBoutique  Před 2 lety

      Thanks so much! Yes, they can curve in the box a little. I like to put the long parts corner to corner in the box because there’s more room that way. Probably a 22x22x6 or 24x24x6

    Hi Jenny! When you ship wreaths like this that extend out very far, do you compact the leaves to make them fit in a smaller box like a 20x20, or do you ship them in an oversized box? I would imagine the shipping on oversized box is outrageous. Thanks ❤❤❤
