Aliens: Armageddon is a light gun shooter arcade game made by Play Mechanix and Raw Thrills. The gameplay is similar to the 2010 Terminator Salvation arcade game, also developed by Play Mechanix, but there is more voice acting in Armageddon and the HUD has changed.
PLOT: A Xenomorph plague is unleashed on Earth causing apocalyptic devastation. Mankind’s only hope for survival is to fight their way to a deep space cargo ship and leave the Earth behind.
Development: The game was first revealed at Booth 2017 at IAAPA 2013 November 19th, 2013 where the public was allowed to play the game. There was also a press release around a week before IAAPA which revealed the arcade cabinet (see right) and more details about the game:
"Only you can save earth from the invading extraterrestrials in Raw Thrills’ latest shooter, Aliens Armageddon! Based on the popular Sci-Fi franchise, become a part of the action to help battle invading extraterrestrials after all of Earth’s major cities get wiped off the map. As U.F.O.s descend from the skies, it begins to look as if humanity is doomed. Fortunately, you are there to fight back to try to send the invaders back to the stars.
Aliens Armageddon is a fully-licensed Aliens product with four chapters of intense game play. Epic battles with enormous Xenomorphs will have player’s heart and guns pumping. Cutting-edge graphics and sound will make players feel like they are in the middle of all the action. In the game, Marines use more contemporary AR-15-styled weapons instead of Pulse Rifles. The use of the latter is likely due to the arcade cabinet the game uses, which features AR-15-styled controllers. However, the game does come in smaller arcade cabinets which do feature controllers based on the Pulse Rifle's design.

+RYOGA V.S. the ARCADE MOLE! It would have to be a thriller action instead of a horror but it can't really be a horror since nobody is really scared of Xenomorphs lol. But I think it would be awesome. Just imagine this story:
20 years later when Ridley's kid was an adult, she now helps fight xenomorphs on a universal scale, they even designed mech/armored suits to fight them easier since Ripley was able to hold off a Queen with a loader bot. But after a mysterious ship explodes over the planet with a last minute distress call, the skies go black nights approach and they discover, that the xenomorphs are much more than they were. (IDK through evolution or Scientists testing their copying traits of their hosts). Needless to say, Ripley's daughter has to not only overcome these new aliens but also figure out how to wipe them out from an entire city.

Played this tonight at D&B. Tons of fun. I got to about the 9:00 mark on 3 plays. Those spikes are super hard playing solo. The game is cheap in other ways too - tons of false enemies that draw your fire and then run off screen while other enemies quickly attack.

Here's the thing about the game. You couldn't kill the alien giant boss and the bulldog missile like needle alien boss but you can kill the alien dragon boss. Sounds weird right?

I think it's kinda cheap how the Aliens are able to rush you and get a few cheap shots at you, especially in the third and fourth chapter, but I would still definitely prefer this game over Aliens: Extermination.

25:16 is how far me and my friends got to. I can see. the game was intense. My heart was beating so fast and i really felt in the mode, like i was actually in the game. i dont mind spoiling myself of the ending cuz i know next time when i go to Rebounderz again, me and. fellow classmates are totally gonna win! but lets hope the first attempt to avoid the aerodactal-like to get the rocket fly safely wasnt gonna be like that than the second attempt which was easier.

I think after the protaganist blew the head off the Giant Fly Xenomorph, He probarly had a cigar before shooting himself to avoid dying at the hands of the Xenos.

This was no doubt the best Alien game ever, though the only real good ones were the arcade games, with them being this/Aliens: Armageddon, Aliens, Alien 3: The Gun, Alien vs. Predator, and Aliens: Extermination. That, and Alien Storm if you count that game, but isn't an officially licensed one. Bummer neither of them (besides Alien Storm, which doesn't exactly count like I said) were ever ported, though can at least play all but the two newest ones on Mame though, which I have on my arcade. That, and if you have a Jamma cabinet for that matter also, which I previously had the boardsets to Aliens, & Alien vs. Predator for.

Definitely! A PS3 port could have surely been done with move support, though licensing issues probably prevented it, along with their other games such as Terminator: Salvation for example. Perhaps PS4 could somehow be doable if there's a proper light gun control for it eventually?
If you are interested on playing games like this I suggest to you search about how to emulate Terminator Salvation and Aliens: Extermination ARCADE games. The last one is actually playable on PC using some tricks and extra VM software. The first one probably could be playable by the end of this year (if it is not already). At the time "Terminator Salvation " is playable it is likely that Aliens Armageddon will be too.
That would be great if I had any idea how to do that. Wish I could play these on my Mame machine, which will hopefully be possibly one day too, if console ports never come.

Grandiosa esta recreativa,me a gustado mas que la primera,aunque le protagonista parece un inutilno es capaz de matar a los enemigos finales y al final se queda en la tierra XD.
Por cierto dos momento WTF de tu partida,una la del final: en serio que cuando vi a la reina alien cargarse el transbordador pensaba que ese era el final,vamos que todo terminaba mal...hasta que vi la parte del GAME OVER.
El segundo due el de la camara,fue muy gracioso,pero mira sirvio para ver como era el mueble y sobre todo el como disparabas.
Ahora solo hace falta que muestres el de terminator de principio a fin y que con algo de suerte puedas darnos los arcades del castlevania (este si que es una rareza),el de sillent hill y el de batman con los vehiculos que es impresionante.
Toni Gil Es un maquinón. A mi también me terminó gustando más que la de Aliens Extermination. Gráficamente esta se parace más al ARCADE de "Terminator Salvation". Respecto a lo de la cámara, simplemente se cayó por los movimientos al jugar, pero si, quedó bien...XD.
De lo arcades "shooter on rails" que comentas si que tengo pensado subir algo. Del "Terminator Salvation" un video nuevo enseñando la primera fase sin palmar (ya que hace poco volví a jugar y conseguí pasar el primer episodio completo sin morir) y de los otros, la versión portada del ARCADE de "Silent Hill - The ARCADE" para PC.

Toni Gil El Silent Hill porque ya está emulado en PC que sino yo creo que ni de coña lo encuentro por aquí. Antes cuando todavía seguían abiertas las salas arcade era más sencillo encontrar estos maquinones (cómo la mítico salón recreativo en Gran Vía 51 de Madrid), pero ahora tienes que buscar más. La máquina de castlevania va a estar más complicado creo yo. Saludos.

In response to why they were killing each other, I would conjecture that the clear difference in coloration between that Giant Xenomorph (reddish) and the Winged Alien Queen (black) is a fairly obvious indicator that they are either A.) from rival hives competing for domination as ants do in real life, or more likely B.) They could be two distinct strains of Xenomorph.
Google-search "Xenomorphs K-Series" -- they're a human-created artificial strain of Xenomorph (complete with very different visual appearance); it was stated in-game that the biologically pure Xenomorphs instantly decided the K-Series Xenomorphs were abominations and a threat to the genetic purity of the Xenomorph species itself, so they set out to completely annihilate them all.
Owing to the lack of any real story behind this video game, I guess the developer was just hoping we'll pretend it's yet another Weiland-Yutani X-Project gone horribly wrong, the two species of Xenos escaped, infested Earth, and now they're fighting for survival against each-other.
