This series is meant to encourage you to trust God more deeply and to meditate on his word and what it promises, to give you strength and hope in difficult times. “God, sometimes life gets me down and I find it hard to see things to be thankful for. Open my eyes to see the gifts you’ve given me in my life. I’m going to start by thanking you for loving me enough to come to earth and die so we can live together forever.
“Jesus sat in the midst of joy sipping the coming sorrow, so that we could sit in the midst of sorrow and sip of the coming joy.” - Tim Keller
It’s a beautiful passage. I left the city I’ve always lived, left all behind to preach the gospel far away. Things were tough the first 6 years, but now things are getting much better. Yes, there were tears at first, but now God is giving me joy bringing the sheaves to me.
I love you guys
"when lifting weights you feel weak as the weights become heavier and yet they are making you stronger"
My heart has been soooo blessed by the Word of God you bring. My sons have also received this blessing also. Keep The Word coming. Thank you
So nice to see godly older couples bring wisdom. It's a comfort found no where else that is given by God.
"If you look to Jesus..." THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS POINTING US TO JESUS OUR LIVING HOPE AND REDEEMER
A song of Ascents...
The struggle is real, the suffering is painful, doubting about the goodness of God is strong .But different attitudes toward suffering will really make two different results. We need His word And His comfort especially in sufferings.
Let us pray for those awaiting test results. Been there, done that.
I appreciate the Q & A with Kathy- that section sheds further and practical light on the subject
Kathy usually asks the question that I am thinking about. Great team! 🙏🙏🙏Praying for Tim, for a full recovery. ❤️🇨🇦
