You should make a video with a mod that randomizes captures in a systematic way like there's in in-game clock running in the background that determines how many id's the capture is shuffled and after the clock goes through every capture id it restarts and you can change this idea however you want as long as you give me credit for the idea.

The guy with buck teeth is very smart at some of these skills
I think an interesting idea for a video of this format is to have 3 speedrunners go through a gauntlet that tests their glitch knowledge.
I think this is a cool idea, but it's tricky because if you don't know a glitch going into the level, it's almost impossible to learn it while playing.
You could make like a sheet of glitches people need to know before participating. That would solve the problem@@Fir

It's interesting to see what the dates are set to for each person because none of them are the actual dates, Cj has his 2 months ahead, pooh has his set back to 2021 and Smant just has his set for 2025
Holding on to footage for years and going into the future in order to get some of it. Outstanding job Fir.
What I’ve noticed from this video is that somehow Poo is visiting us here in the future while playing in 2021, what a god gamer. (Edit: Smant is also a time traveling gamer but he’s from 2025)
CJ is also a time traveler. He's playing in November when it's only September.

It is still a bit difficult to get a sense for how long they're actually taking with each section. Like was cyja stuck in the "you need to die" room for 10 minutes before the hint was given or was it like 2 minutes, or which room is what doomed Poo's time? The format's good for like a highlight reel, just having a timer chart at the end would be handy.
Next time you do one of these you should do splits for the various sections at the end with the final times. There's only so much you can show of the challengers loosing their minds on the puzzles so its hard to get a sense for how long each of them are taking on each individual section and why the losers lost.

this is what finally made it "click" for me why odyssey is so popular with challenge+speed runners. mario is all about movement, and the capture system implements so many new ways to move, it's a perfect fit for the series and makes it a lot more compelling and intricate. awesome work bringing that feeling into your own creation!
The Warp Pipe Dreams reference made me so happy-awesome work on this! These escape rooms are always so fun to watch ^^
When trying to come up with ideas to send the map maker for the level I was literally just looking over Mario Party minigames to see if there were any interesting ideas to convert into Odyssey lmao. Even the RC Car maze was slightly inspired by Battery Ram in MP7.

I have a suggestion for something a bit different. It would be to bring a Mario Kart flair to SMO. Inspired by the crazy chases there was in Hide n Seek mode, it would be cool to use to use captures or mechanics to race around a course in a specific kingdom where that capture is used.
I had these ideas:
-In Cap Kingdom, race with paragoombas;
-In Sand, with Jaxis;
-In Wooded, a course with uproots
-In Lake, with Cheep Cheeps
-In Lost, with Glydon
-In Snow, there's already a race, but let's make the course harder
-In Seaside with gushens
-In Luncheon with fireballs
-In Bowser with pokios climbing a wall.
That's the ideas that I had. Maybe combining some of them in other kingdoms I haven't mentioned would be cool as well.

It would be great if you had each of the contestants run through the maps a second time to try and get a "fastest time" (give them only 20 - 30 minutes to get best time possible). This way you're really putting their memory and speedrun skills to the test. Then, their final score (time) is a composite of the two times.
I had absolutely no idea that you could hit the paranaplant fireball from behind to increase it's speed and distance. I would have been stuck there for an hour before giving up.

it's nice that no one got unfair hints that time. CJ got told to look at the door because he was mistaken and Poo was definitely not told that you could boost fireballs with Cappy because who the heck would know that.

Video idea every time you bonk take damage or die you have to listen to Scotland forever on full volume with headphones
When you do another one of these, put in a very long puzzle that leads to unlocking a pipe to a room with the image of a giant red herring.
Alternatively, tell them to speedrun a mod pack, but have these escape rooms after every single boss.
“Squid Games”
One of the creators that makes me extremely excited whenever I see an upload because every video has so much quality and time go into it. Already on the second playthrough of this one, so good like usual.
You edit these really well in a way that makes it hard to tell who's going to win. Great video as always Fir

I find it funny how everybody's Switches were 2 years apart. Poo was in 2021, Smallant was 2025, and Cjya had the correct time (I think)
I think the fact that you cut the parts so that it looks that they finished equally makes it fair to watch, great job, fir!

I would just like to thank fir for his “Trying Your Dumbest Mario Speedruns” video thumbnail, cause I could not snap before for some reason, but i saw the thumbnail on the side of this video and tried the snapping technique shown by Mario. I can now say with confidence that I can snap.

It would be a lot of fun to be able to see timers on each streamer's view throughout the process. That way we could see how long it took one to get through a specific section compared to the others. If you wanted to keep it suspenseful, the last couple of rooms could eliminate the timer.
I would've been permanently stuck in the enemy room forever; I had no idea you could boost a fireball with Cappy. 🤯🤯🤯
From the troll vid, I was 100% expecting the pipe maze solution to just be "go back in whatever pipe you came out of."
This is super cool! i love this kind of video! suggestion you do another one of these but invite a friend who is not a pro at the game and make it so the pros think they have to difficult things when the solution is actually something really easy

I love these videos, also if you do another one you could do a boo type level where you have to look at the right boo to continue, the twist is you go back in the door you came from

What about, the piranha pipe room, perhaps as an optional skip to the next room if you feel it would be too hard to figure it out - You could take the pipe, and it puts you in a mirror copy of that scenario, and if they manage to survive, they can just move on - Like it looks identical, but it's not the same room (Or remove the door in to make it more obvious with some indication to go down the pipe)
