This honestly sounds very similar to Invincible. His dad was initially a superhero and turns out to be on Earth to set it ready to be conquered by an empire of outer-space beings. His son eventually finds out and turns against him.

I swear Shaneplays improves with his story and videos in general. I have been watching his content for 3 years and its definitely gotten better. Keep it up man, I mostly really like the small details of the photos of the husband and wife.
I just question why don't you ever bring back any character? It would be nice to see them again honestly, especially the older characters from your older stories.
