Easily one of the NASTIEST vehicles I've ever detailed, this Dodge Caravan needed 15 hours of intense detailing to completely transform it and the owner reaction at the end is unreal!

Gotta ask though, would you ever buy a vehicle knowing it looked like this once? 🤔
Well it depends on whether or not if it's been this dirty before
Good morning boss, just woke up going to watch this then head to work I have been detailing for 2 years now.
Good Morning Detail Geek
If it was detailed by you…..yes.
Only if I knew you were the one who cleaned it.

@Jay And sadly, the second kind you describe ironically runs and operates recycling facilities.

@Jay there's a third category that I fall into. Those that recycle when convenient, and understand the pros of recycling, but dont really care to put forth effort

Even if she didn't contribute to the mess...She also didn't take any responsibility for her children and clean up after them! Gross is an understatement.
Exactly my thoughts.
The funniest thing is, she could’ve cleaned it before.
Being a stay at home mom is super hard. Yet somehow, my mom, who had 4 kids and a full time job never had a car look like that. Lazy. That’s it. Teaching her kids to be lazy AF too.

My hubby would kill me if my vehicle was like this. I have a 6 yr old car and 8 yr old van and they are pretty clean all the time. I can only imagine her house.
Some shouldn’t even have a car after seeing some gross cars. Like if you can’t be responsible for your own car or keep it clean when you have kids. That was the nastiest van I ever seen.

Every time I see these trashed vehicles that is my first thought... filthy car=filthy home... I get my MINI Cooper detailed once a year (about) and they always chide me at my local detail shop for having the cleanest car that ever comes in there... I'd die of shame taking a car like that out in public much less to a detailer... I'd have to pre-detail my car first...
Na bc my cars messy but my house needs to be cleaned otherwise I can't get comfortable
A landlord would definitely not want to rent to these people. Getting a quick peek at someone's car if you can will give you a good idea of how they will take care of a rent house.
You should start a franchise! How cool would it be to have a “Detail Geek” in every major city?!! 😍
I honestly don't know how people don't get embarrassed over the state of the car when they come into you. I mean they don't even throw away literal garbage in the car, they just let you take care of it. I couldn't do that. You do an amazing job every time!

I mostly wait until I get home to eat but if I on a road trip and cannot stop to eat I would eat carefully in the car
I hope she didn't have to tip and the guy charged her a fair price for the work performed. What the hell is it with Americans and tipping/giving money away. Just charge what's needed to do the work required. Done.
@@m.stewart7208 it's called being a decent human being. Many people who work in jobs like this don't always get paid the best. Same goes for those who work in hospitality or even salons. If they're doing a really good job, you give them a tip. You get a good hair cut, good service in a restaurant or even a good experience in an Uber, they all deserve a tip. Especially Uber and Lyft drivers because of how they get paid. A lot of these folks are either paying their way through school or taking care of an ill family member. @@FactoryFailure Yeah and they sell models a year ahead, so it was probably delivered in 2018. That's a good three years at least.
I drive a minivan and I have young children. When my van was extraordinarily messy, it was 100% my fault. Don't blame the kiddos, ladies. (Tip: If you stop feeding them in car, most of the problem is avoided.)
Even when I do feed them in the car, as we get out (wherever we are) I pick up the trash and larger pieces of food they may have tossed around and THROW IT AWAY. how do those people get in their car and accept that it looks good
Right what's the tipping point between this is fine and call in the pros
Sometimes it's just a matter of time and money. If they have kids that they're constantly carting around to activities, plus work, other day-to-day stuff, they can lose track. They know it's bad, but then they need the time to be without their vehicle and an extra few hundred to have a pro do it.
I'll never get the visible food, though. Stuff lost under seats is bad enough, but where you can see it? Naw. Makes me wonder if they might've just gotten back from a family trip.
They wouldn't if it happened overnight, however because it happens gradually, they become blind to it as they live it day by day.
Hey I cant judge I have 4 kids and I dont work for obvious reasons they are all under 5 and my last priority is keeping my car clean. Between having to do everything for them (cook, clean the house, wash the laundry, pay the bills, school, etc.) I barely get time to take a shower or sit down and eat. Now my van ain't that dirty I mean it doesnt have food or anything thrown around but it does have stains and I have the equipment to clean it but I just dont have the time to do so. This vehicle was only 2 years old?! I traded in a 10 year-old vehicle, never professionally detailed it during that time and didn't vacuum often and it was nowhere CLOSE to this. There was minor wear on the seats but it otherwise looked nearly new!
But do you have kids who are pretty young?
@@bigfish1776 that's is actually a good point. Never had kids but I clean for a living and after I have dealt with cleaning houses in the presence of small kids I can actually acknowledge that is pretty freaking hard. Although I would never let my vehicle get anywhere near this bad, but again that also depends on multiple factors 🤷♀️😅
I had a minivan for a bit over 10 years with 3 kids that I hauled everywhere, but it never looked THAT bad. We'd do a cursory clean up after long trips and I never left food rotting in it--if we got fast food, the bags left the car as soon as we got home and the fries got picked up (the ones I could see, anyway). I think I got it detailed once and would vacuum it out maybe once a year. Also, no gum.
@@bigfish1776 nope, but even if I did I wouldn't let it get this bad. Our cars when I was growing up never looked this bad, even after an 18 hour ride each way for vacation, or a 3 week trip to the Mid West.

Really?
You’re trying to blame kids.
Millions of people have kids and they keep their vehicles and homes clean.
Stop using the, “ I have kids excuse” because you’re to lazy to keep your vehicle clean.
Every time you get out of your vehicle take everything with you and pick up the food you dropped.
My parents had 6 kids and both worked long hours, and our home and car where clean at all times.
So stop asking, “do you have 3 kids,”. Three kids should be easy compared to 6 kids.
I can't believe how people treat cars that they presumably bought new. My car is like 13 years old, has had at least 2 owners before me, I don't clean it nearly often enough, and it's still way better than the vehicles he has to deal with.
Exactly. I drive a 1995 cherokee and it's never been that dirty inside.
Yeah when I got my 2012 Ford fusion SE, oh my lord it was neglected as hell.. pet hair in places I couldnt even get it out of.. and trash and cigarette buds everywhere.. there was even a roach infestation that I had to bomb out and vaccum the hell out of lol it's not perfect but I did my best and hopefully I'll have enough money to get it detailed
I have an 07 Pontiac G6. I smoke in my car, but never without the window open. I also don't ash in my car. My ash goes out the window and the butts go in a butt can. You do such an awesome job detailing, it looks fantastic! Doesn’t it make you sad to think it will probably look the same in a few months😵💫
These are great videos. Keep up the great work!
They could open a McDonald’s with all those French fries…
😂
Yeah, and used recycled food is trending now 👍
Honestly, when I can’t sleep, I watch your videos and it’s so soothing and satisfying to watch these vehicles transform and it actually relaxes me enough to sleep!
I’m a full time college student studying for a PhD and two Master’s degrees so there’s a lot of stress and you really help!
Lord have mercy girl I’ll keep you in my prayers what kind of job are you going for? Two masters and PhD you go! That is a lot! I wish you the best.
Nice video, don't stop to share your work with us. And i have to say I love my lilly brush, I use the brush for the cat hairy sofa. Best thing I ever buy.
OH HOW MY LIFE HAS CHANGED 😍.. I brought similar things to him to clean my car and family cars and I put his videos on because his voice is calming also his tips with what to use for where especially with chemicals being used in cars help!
As soon as I saw her and heard her, all my questions were answered 😂
Great job!!!
People that don't put the work into cleaning their own stuff will never appreciate the hard work you do because they aren't willing to do it for themselves
Not true in my case. I know how much work it is, that’s why I don’t do it. It’s just too damn much for me. I have chronic fatigue.
there’s certainly wisdom in taking initiative towards mundane, arduous, yet diligent tasks in pursuit of a regimented system of discipline in your life.

I do my own car cleaning. That’s why I turn to a crazy yelling mom whenever I see my kids doing something that will dirty it up. Last time was my kid putting his hands on the ceiling of the car. Little boy, why are you touching the top of my car. That shit is hard to clean. It used to be me telling them about how they climbed in. Like, why they gotta put their feet on the seat first. My yelling words were “ass on seat, not your feet. ass on seat, not your feet”. They finally got it 😂😂😂
Sir. You are one of my fav channel now. Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful! You know your craft!
I really hope that you’re Charging the owners as drastically as they are bringing the cars to you..
Me too!! They should be paying a hefty price for being so disgusting!
That's just nasty their lives must be out of control along with their kids
I hope so too. Because the state they bring these cars in are unacceptable. I get if they’re dirty with mud/dirt because you drag it in. But all that nasty ass trash and such….no. Just no!
Can't even begin to imagine what these peoples houses look like......
They’re interior designers🤣
I don’t even wanna think about it
House is probably spotless. People just abuse their vehicles.
@@SlightlyLessFat I have always found that people’s cars are a very good indicator of what their homes look like. People who live in clean houses would never get in a traveling pig sty like that.
@@doreenblatz2440 That’s not a 100% truth though. I’ve always been hard on my truck. House is spotless but I only clean my truck out once a month.
He’s a very clean and put together person and he’s kind from what Ive seen
I love your content man. I’m subscribed but I forgot your channel name; but I remembered you, and I got excited when I found you again 😁
Question! do you ever wash the seatbelts in cars?
Big shout out to the people who can't clean up after themselves....so I can watch this guy do amazing work!
I would never own a van, however if it was a different vehicle, yes because I know I can make it like new again. You inspire me to be better at detailing every day!
Great job bro def liked and will be watching a few more videos. I’m curious to know how much something like this would cost… in that condition lol… just started my own mobile detailing, but I don’t wanna under cut myself
This scares me. If this is their car and they have children and pets what does their house look like?? 😱
@universal truth 💯
I honestly think this is a Canadian thing. My grandparents were from Winnipeg, and man their cars were ALWAYS trashed like this. Always all kinds of rotting fruit, bread, food everywhere, stuff everywhere, tissues everywhere. I asked my Grandpa once why his cars were like that and he just said that is how Canadians are. I think in the middle provinces there is a lot of traveling involved for a lot of them so they have to pack a lot of stuff in the car in the event they break down in the snow and get stranded etc. Some people are just pigs also. LOL
It might not be that bad. Some people think there cars are just pieces of metal that they use to get to mcdonalds but they treat there houses differently for some reason
@@bradleylauterbach7920 while I agree with you that to some people, cars are just a means of transport, but having such a disgusting car is straight up a bio/health hazzard for the occupants and especially kids. Not taking care of your car has nothing to do with turning it into a rolling trashcan with rotten food inside...
@@stormgirl604 lumping all the people from the prairie provinces into one category!! Believe me we don’t carry rotting fruit and bread just in case we break down! I think your grandparents are just slobs. Why don’t you give them a hand to clean up that traveling garbage truck instead of going online and telling everyone about them.
I can only imagine what their home looks like!
It's a house you wipe your feet outside when leaving
People's cars are not always an indication of what their home looks like. I know a lot of people who don't really care about how their car looks, but their home is immaculate. Some people don't have the time or really just don't want to clean their cars. (to be fair this video is an extreme example)
@@ryanhalfyard4149 absolutely. When I was younger my dad lived out of state and when I went to visit him, he needed to borrow his friends car. It was filthy beyond belief. When I went inside this guy's house to return the keys and thank him, it wasn't like perfect but certainly clean to my standards. When I asked my dad how this could be he said, "it's not too complicated, his son doesn't live in that car" and it just sorta clicked for me. Cars can be disgusting and it could even be a reflection of the owners mental state or something, but you never know if they love someone in that house enough to keep it clean.
Nope, people do different things in different places.
No one has ever made this comment before!
sheeeeesh 🔥🔥 The results are astonishing 🤩🤩
great job!! well done pal.. ❤️❤️
Imagine hearing “Alright lets go get something to eat.” Right after they see the car lmao
Her excuses though smh. “My kids get to the sauces and then it gets everywhere”…soooo it never dawned on her to just clean it up when they make a mess? 🤔🤦🏾♀️
Dont let kids eat in the damn car. Problem solved
Stright I get McDonald’s but as soon as we get home I take it out and throw it away
I want to see what their house looks like 🤔 maybe not 😳

Imagine the horror when your kid says he's giving a classmate a lift.
ew
I’d be throwing up

I wouldn’t even dare ask for it 💀, I’d rather get lifted by another friend

There’s an asmr channel?! 😱🤯 omg you made my week!! I didn’t know!!!

Like lottery winners who end up bankrupt after 10 years, this van will be covered with old, rotting food again in 2 months. Mitch can clean a van, but this van owner needs counseling.
@@bartmanbaseball I bought a new car in July 2020. It actually still smells new. It needs to be vacuumed but I won’t even let people drink water in it!

Cool video! Love the guitar riff!
It’s disgusting how some people live like this. The laziness is unreal.
hey now "her kids and her husband destroyed it"
Seriously she couldn’t be bothered to throw the trash away before she brought it to him? Come on. You know she contributed to that mess too with her rambling on about how her husband and kids destroyed it. Nasty
yeah it’s not even like the dirtiness is something you’d need specialized tools for, it’s mainly trash (literally)
Epic isn’t the word for this detail. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE is more like it!!!! I don’t know how you deal with the absolute filth Mitch!!! Never will understand how some people let their vehicles get this far gone. Thank God for you!!! ❤️
You’re so dramatic lmao

@@bobbob2820 you must be boring Bob
@@huckleberry5330 The van didn't smell... ever consider a lot of the mess was recently added (not by DG) to make it way more dramatic. Rubbish left lying around for long periods of time does tend to smell, so maybe the van is not in this state all the time. But, don't let anything stop you from your high-handedness.
@@yardleywood7585 Never mentioned a smell in my “dramatic” comment. And rest assured, nothing will stop me from my “high-handed ness” comments when it comes to the Detail Geek aka The G.O.A.T

Hey detailed, just wanted to ask: My leather seats are far from new and they got all slick and slippery, since the surface profile has worn out. What do I use to bring back a little roughness and ruggedness, so that it doen not feel like you're sitting on the ice, thank you
Thanks for the cleaning inspiration this morning! Me and my kids (8, 6 and 4!) just finished detailing our Jeep and Odyssey. They have never looked THAT dirty but it still feels so good to get in when they smell fresh and everything is squeaky clean.
