What on earth do the critics and naysayers have to say now, that Richmond has won away from home for more than 3 mths??? West Coast, Brisbane & Port bombed out of the finals and on their respective home grounds & by Victorian teams. They had their own beds to sleep in their own grounds to play on & they let it slip out their hands. The best team of the year rose to the occasion and won the flag. Google any of the match reports and you’ll see Martin mentioned as the best on field.
2019 PF: Dusty injured in first quarter and still finishes with 22 and 2 goals in a tight game. Danger played well in the first half and got a soft free kick goal but was then not seen again. Again, go read up on the match reviews or player ratings.

First things first. Congratulations to Richmond. A year filled with devastation across the globe and in Australia. Away from Melbourne for nearly 4 months have been the club that standing out for the past few months. Secondly, for a guy that seen so much success in a small amount of time (5 Grand Finals in 8 years) you always think the team is on top of the world. And doing some you know eventually once you reach the top of the mountain, the only way is down. In doing so you sacrifice staff over the years. In doing so Clarko has created and established many of his Assistant Coaches and managers into AFL Coaches. Fagan, Bolton, Beverdige, Simpson, Ratten, Cameron and Hardwick. Something that only deepens his legacy and creation of proteges. Something that he has kept alive since the 2013 Grand Final to today. 8 years straight he has had either himself or a protege winning a flag. Something I can look up to after a poor season. Thirdly. Damien Hardwick. This guy has changed the way Richmond played after struggling with consecutive final losses. Even what’s happened this year with the incidents you could tell Richmond were undisciplined to an extent, thanks to today’s social media and internet. Even rumours that Hardwick wanted to leave and was going to get sacked due to these circumstances. Believe it or not it has happened. But never gave up and got that chance in 2017. Then... we’ll you know what happens next. And be appreciative that the Season was so close to being pulled due to the COVID that has occurred. Especially how people talked about how the season still continued while people lost their businesses, loved ones to Covid or mental health and heading into a possible recession, thinking why has it still continued while people are getting battered with this crisis. It’s gone past the stage with the season ending now. But what’s happened, has happened. It’s a shame as well that we lost the Grand Final this year to Queensland. Disappointed the tradition has been broken, last one held outside the G was in 1991 at Waverley Park. And Finally, Ablett. Wasn’t the fairytale ending he was looking for but Farewell little master. One of the greatest players to play in the AFL Era. Despite giving us Hawk fans nightmares and being a bother in close encounters but got one better in 2013 Prelim Final. I know most people won’t read this but thanks if you do and have a great rest of 2020 and be safe. Counting down to the 2021 and the Season.

Is it fair to acknowledge that Toby Nankervis is a truly great ruckman now, not just a 'workhorse' taking the load in the ruck? The way he plays around the ball is like another midfielder in there and he takes big important marks consistently when he drops back. Amazing that he has gone from a fringe player at the Swans to a triple premiership winning Richmond legend in 4 seasons since arriving in 2017. Prestia also came on board in that off season and Jack Graham arrived as an 18 yo from Adelaide. These guys have known nothing but success at Richmond and it's safe to say that all the triple premiership players are Tiger heroes forever and some of them are legends. @@taliamason7986 Richmond choked in a prelim. Geelong were more of a challenge tonight than what west coast would’ve been and Richmond were by far a better team in 2018 than they were in any of their premiership teams. They know how to win flags, hence why they’ve got 3 out of 4. The round 8 clash was bias umpired to the home team like no tomorrow and is only reason for 47 point deficit. Richmond would’ve flogged west coast. Adelaide did them by 76 and then got done by 48, and they’ve won the last two times they’ve played, what gives you the right to claim that? 😂 not even a Richmond supporter but I wouldn’t be so arrogant. Collingwood got done twice by them of course they were gunna come out firing but had they prevailed no one other than collingwood if they could’ve played off on the day somehow would’ve won.

Bruce's commentary in the moment dusty broke Dangerfields tackle was so piss poor, he was already talking over the moment. Way past it, that moment needed a JB or BT, Darcy.. someone that would have legitimately gone ballistic. Not Bruce's fake dribble "can he kick a fourth" who cares it's their best vs our best in an epic moment. He didn't even acknowledge it. AFL I wish they would do one of those clips where they take the audio from all other broadcasters and play them back to back. Would be cool, missed opportunity.
