I met Pfanner when I was in high school when he was on a trip with the Volcom team. He was sitting in the van and one of the guys with him told me to go over and ask for a picture. When I went over to him I said “are you Chris?” Because I was so nervous and he looked at me and said “what you think cuz I’m the only black guy that I’m Chris Pfanner?!” And I started to stutter and he just laughed and said he was joking and we took a picture. I’ll never forget that 😂
I bet if you retook that photo he would still look the same, Dude doesn't look like he's aged at all.

Today’s my 2nd day with my first skateboard. I fell 103 times but landed my first kickturn in the bowl! Best feeling ever I can’t imagine what their feeling when they land these tricks. I also may have broke my pinky. Can’t wait for tomorrow to do it again!
Yeah, breaking the pinkies is the best feeling ever, you do it once and get addicted. Too bad you have far too few and have to wait weeks for them to heal before you can go at it again. Some people think both skating, kickturning and pinky-breaking are weird disturbing activities, though, but I do relate to what you said!

Got to remember to save these videos and watch again. Feel like the internet is a gift and a curse. We get all this fire content on demand but sometimes I have to remind myself to appreciate it. Back in the day I would have to wait to get my one 411 in the mail every month or for my mom to buy me a new VHS that I would watch so many times. Now I may see a super dope part and on to the next one tomorrow.

Wow! Chris Pfanner's skating feels so... I don't know! So organic, so natural, clean. It's as if the board was stuck to his legs. Or better yet, as if the board just part of his body and he does casual things with it. It's as if gravity affected him differently, or as if he were using cheat codes on THPS. It feels so effortless, so smooth. Beautiful!

I love the AH lineup. Such a mix of styles and approaches but always solid. Any Hewitt clip is always welcome and Pfanner is the man.

Anti Hero is skateboarding at its most pure, essential form... a company created by Stranger and Phelps?! PHELPS?! AH IS skateboarding. Their decks (all Dynasty decks, frankly) are fire af. The grimey "fuck you" type message they represent really is, IMHO, skateboarding in its substantial essence. Julien Stranger, Grant Taylor, GREWER(!), Andy Roy, GROSSO (!) , fuckin CARDIEL (🤯), TnT 🧨, Pfanner aaaaannnd Brian Anderson‐‐I'm sure I'm forgetting many other legends‐‐all have their fingerprints all over this bitch? I picked up my first Antihero deck recently, a Raney Beres 8.63... I really love it. It's a totally different shape than I'm use to and a little bit bigger, but it's hella fun! I was rocking FA for a while but their lack of different shapes/sizes got old... never thought i'd ride Antihero but the shape and fact that it had a Texas "Lone Star" graffic got me! Anyways, sick video. Pfanner is incredible. HUGE POP. Who's that wild dude with the crazy hair? Saw him in a Vans Euro video I think? He had the bs tail closer... dude is rad.

Antihero boards are the best ever, Pfanner Studio 18 8.06x31.84 I learned to kickflip on, it had the best concave and was the lightest of all in the shop. Rode two something years on it, STILL has the snappy pop even if tail is so worn out there is barely any. As legendary as it gets in my book.
