I have been walking with the Lord for a long time but when you are walking in disbelief from disappointment or so many let downs you tend to walk in a state of disbelief. I was praying and asking God where am I in my walk and He gave me a dream and showed me.

The bridge of this song is the part I have a problem with. Yes, there will be times we feel let down by God. We don't always get what we want. A good Father doesn't give his children everything they want but what they NEED. So embrace suffering if God allows it to come to you.
I definitely understand what you’re saying. When I sing this, I think of his eternal promises. I know that despite suffering in the present, He’s working it out for our good and ultimately if we trust Him, He won’t let us down. ♥️ love your point. It’s so easy to think God has forgotten us sometimes. But you’re right, we must embrace suffering! Romans 5 tells us suffering produces endurance that produces character that produces hope! It’s one of my favorite passages.
