    I love mine! My current build is the SMC bravo, Original P320 compact Slide, Threaded barrel, HA320XL Comp, Streamlight TRL7 Sub (Until I pick a better option), Picatinny to Buffer Tube adapter, SBA4 Brace (Until Magpul BTR comes in). Currently waiting to come in Hyper Shield, Charging Handle, BTR Brace, Dovetail To RMR Adapter. Waiting to but until in stock Magazine Holder. I also haven't decided the optic yet just knew I wanted an RMR cut. I'm only using the brace setup because I already had it and will probably change in the future and already have a BTR coming for my AR Pistol.

    Its hard to argue against when its like $120. The rest of the bolted on nonsense isn't necessary, but if you've got a fully kitted P320 and a spare 1913 brace laying around, its an easy buy. I've got both a bravo and flux raider (top chopped), and I'd say the bravo is an acceptable cheaper (and in stock) alternative. I plan to give it to my dad who's got a compact P320 with a sig red dot on it, give him a 21rd round magazine and likely chop the end shorter to meet the compact slide.

    I'm new to chassis and guns but here's a couple of cons I read about that I don't thiiiink I heard y'all talk about (?):
    lack of manual safety making it somehow a little more risky than the Flux. Maybe only talking about running any kind of sling on it without a safety? Again I'm brand new
    even with the angle of the stock/adapter, it's still not low enough to comfortable see through a lot of optics. And if you have a p320 slide that's not optic cut, you can still run your optic on the Flux without having to get a new slide or send it out.
    Something tells me to get the Bravo over the Flux, but most of the internet feels I should go for the Flux.
    Sorry if y'all already covered these and I missed it.
    Lastly, here's a question: Would you rather have the Bravo with NO spare mag holder, or a Flux Raider
    Flux supposedly puts out a new batch of Raiders every month or so, whereas I can't tell whether Strike will be releasing more parts for the bravo. They're out of stock on both the spare mag holder and the charging handle.
    Thanks for your help!

    • @ARFCOMReviews
      @ARFCOMReviews  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I think if you have the coin then the flux is the way to go. It is definitely more expensive but is overall a hardier system. The Bravo Chassis is really meant to be a less expensive version of that type of system and it crushes it at the price. Not having a manual safety doesn't bother me unless I am running a plate carrier and if I'm going to be doing long walks on the beach kind of stuff with it. As a bag gun it doesn't really suffer for not having one in my opinion.

      @davidchaparro2517 Před 3 měsíci

      @@ARFCOMReviews thanks for the reply. Since I've never tried either it's hard to know whether I prefer a slide mounted optic or the shroud style on the Flux, and I also really like that SI folding stock, it just looks really easy to use and kind of cool. But yeah, the internet in general seems to make a little fun of the SMC and seems to really love the Raider. Nice thing about the SMC is that it's still available (minus the spare mag holder) and I don't have to worry about when the next drop is and whether I'll hit "purchase" within the first .5 seconds of the drop. Not having that spare mag holder is kind of a deal breaker though.
      Anyway, thanks for the review, and thanks again for the reply.

    Recover Tactical did it for the Glock, clamshell design that initially was unusable with iron sights or a slide mounted dot. I tried it, hated it, and therefore it sat in my safe unused. The length of pull is probably a bit short for taller individuals, but they offered a picitany dot adapter that raises the dot considerably making the platform much more usable. Dare I say, even practical in a real self-defense scenario. Having LARPED many missions through my home, killing the monsters and bad guys my children point out, I can confidently say I am an expert in the practical self-defense field. Perhaps the number one upside to the Recover Tactical product is being designed for a superior handgun. It would be a shame to need a gun, and be stuck with a p320 platform pistol.

      I still own two P320 variants, I am interested in anything that may make them a bit more pleasurable to own and shoot. These guys also produce solid content, and I watch most everything they produce. There is no denying there are manufacturers that produce excellent, not necessarily better, striker-fired firearms than Glock. You mentioned Shadow Systems, and Zev, both excellent manufacturers. Although, I didn’t enjoy the OZ9 as much as I thought I would. Heck the Walther PDP is cool, Arex Defense Delta is solid, Taurus has a few cool models, I would like to purchase a Beretta APX, even the PSA Dagger line is solid. Many of these companies are producing firearms that compete with, or exceed against what Glock brings to the table. While I enjoy larping with my children, I have also been afforded the privilege of teaching them to read, something it appears your parents may have missed out on. I never once suggested that “big man hands” were the secret to enjoying a Glock. I specifically said “normal size man hands." It is true that smaller hands may prove less than helpful when attempting to fire superior Austrian Firearms. My simple notation of a similar product to the one presented, but designed for a different firearm, is just that a notation of fact. While, I would generally wear the title of "Smug Prick" with a sense of pride, I do take exception to it in this comment thread. Especially, from an individual with reading comprehension below that of my 7 year old, while your "hunch may be solid" I would assume your skull is the only solid thing about you. Your willingness to engage in the comments in the manner you have chosen suggests you are little more than a knuckle dragging ape who only recently discovered the internet ... furthermore, it's the internet, bro ... Take a chill pill and catch up on some cat videos or whatever the P320 Stans are into these days.

Most people don't have the pistol proficiency to shoot past 15 to 20 yards on a good day, and $400 worth of ammo won't change that. This does make even a novice shooter capable of that feat.
