- In my opinion, these couples should have been canon, and BOTH of them should've survived. But again, just my opinion :P Just that the concept of the dyad is so intriguing and interesting to me, and has become one of my fav couple tropes so far.
I'm also not too sure I'm satisfied with the final product of this edit. There doesn't seem to be exposition, rising action, or a climax, at least to me it doesn't feel that way. As if it's just dragging on. I fell immensely in love with the song and was obsessed with making it work for both Zutara and Reylo, and hopefully, I was able to accomplish in making it work. Especially with the lyrics of the song: "The water's clean and warm and green, I'm not allowed to swim, I'm scared of getting in." The song just seemed pretty fitting for the two pairings, especially with the haunting and eerie sound to it as well.
I interpreted the lyrics of “I’m not allowed to swim” as in they shouldn’t be “allowed” to give in to this temptation, because they feel it's wrong. Because with their dynamics, it's kind of a constant back and forth of “Should I indulge in this?” and “what would happen if I do?” At least more so with Ben and Rey. It's wrong because they are on opposing sides, but they find compassion and understanding for one another, understanding originating all the way back to their corrupted childhoods.
Also the parallels with Kylo and Zuko and their abusive fathers, at least in Kylo's case, a fatherly figure. They've been manipulated, misguided, and taken advantage of. There comes a point where they "overthrow" their manipulators. It also had occurred to me that Ozai and Snoke even have the same bone structure in their faces sort of? Such an unnerving detail that I hadn't noticed until making these parallels in my editing.

Nor does that look in their eyes, something that never changes and is only evident in them. The Dyad in the multiverse. I thought about all of the reylo edits you've done and I asked myself how in the world do you make each video about them unique and original and inspiring? Like... Every edit is full of life, emotion and movement! I'm so grateful that you are still invested in them and I'm also happy about your taste in fictional couples/people because you always choose interesting dynamics!
I've always wondered tho, how long does it usually take you to make a...let's say 2 minute edit like that? You post so regularly but the quality is always the best! The scenes and transitions are so fast and I know how tiring it is to do them like that.
aw, thank you!! :D And for how long it takes to edit, I'd just say it usually depends. If I'm literally wired with inspiration it could take me no more than 3 hours, but it isn't that often that I have those inspiration strikes. I've been having those strikes lately with my umbrella academy edits but with this specific edit, it was a lot tougher to do, mainly because I couldn't really visualize how I wanted the edit to go when I had started editing, so it took me some time. To finish this one, it took me about a couple of hours each day, for three days. But all in all, it just depends :)) Again, thanks so much!! ❤
I had heard of this song a couple of years ago and forgot it existed. Your video reminded me how beautiful this song is, and YOU made it fit wonderfully with Zutara and Reylo. Every video you make is stellar, but this will definitely be one of my all time favorites. I love watching your videos every time I see that you upload, you have such skill in editing, and you always completely capture the vibe of the pairings you do. Please don't ever stop, you are so talented, and as a spectator and fan, I enjoy watching every video you post and how you test new things. The fact that the descendents of the last two Sith Lords achieved what not even the most powerful Sith in history were able to achieve introduces a grand potential for an Epic Tribute Video.
