second this. the horror stories i have heard about groomers just lying about actual injuries they caused that results in long term OR life threatening injuries is gross. I will agree, though, if you can learn to groom your own dog, it is less stressful on them (and your pocket book)

Etn is nice, but getting MOABs start at a damaged state will help truly make these speed runs. And can do a 025 dart monkey if you DON'T get the villages if you have the right monkey knowledge points spent. I've been using it to farm Dark Castle, Sanctuary, and Infernal on deflation.
For the one tower question, I say the wizard. Good at popping moabs, can detect camo, can pop leads, it has a paragon, I feel like all my bases are covered
I think I gotta say Sniper is the NO.1 over all tower just imagen 10 of them in the back of the map AND the spiper can pop all and make you money, also back again for another amazing video

I had a dog, he died because he was just to old, things really can get out of control quick, one day he had energy, the next his heart stopped multiple times and he would just lie limp and literally lifeless on the floor till he got blood pumping again, it's tough when you have to make the decision to put them down, but I would definitely treat all injuries with care at that age
If you move the bottom path Beast Handler's drop zone you won't have to worry about stalling and the bloons can be plonked right in the middle of your defence.
I think the sniper is the best since you only could get 1-1-0 to pop all bloon types, with x-0-2 for moabs, 2-0-5 for bloon clean up, and a middle path sniper for econ.
Another possible strategy that could be used specifically for resort is Big/Biggest one mortar with Plasma Accelerater where the loop is. The mortar deals with the bloons, and the dartling gunner deals with the Moab bloons. Hopefully, this helps.
What I think would really help you get faster and improve in general is make some notes. For example on what round you need more ways to deal with camo or when it's best to use certain abilities. I know that speedruns have notes to always get them on track and ensure they do what they have to.
back in my beast handler face, i was obsessed with comboing orca with t rex and giant condor with some buffs and other towers. they got me to a really high round, too (140+)
58:55 the embrittlement lets other towers do 1 extra layer of damage so it is great when paired for example with the tack shooter effectively doing double the damage.
I grew up raising dogs and it does seem mostly like his age combined with his kwik accidentally getting clipped is causing him to a have a rough go of it. But if it was related to the kwik, he probably should've gotten over the discomfort of it by now. I'd still recommend getting him checked with a vet to be safe, he's 14 so anything can happen, especially if he did fall ANY distance and he's having this much discomfort that he has to lay down to eat. tl;dr I'd take him to the vet to get a proper check-up because there could be more going on, related or not to the grooming incident, that may still be a cause for concern. It wouldn't hurt to do it.
Enjoying the series a lot! I'd use more snipers on lower difficulties, 2-0-4 destroys most bloons up to BFB, a 2-4-0 and a 0-2-4 is ultimate cleanup (one of them should be enough)

Being stuck with one tower is tough because almost all the towers have a glaring weakness that needs to be covered by another tower. Ninja's for instance are so expensive that they cant handle the early rounds on most maps. I guess my pick would probably be dart monkey or wizard as a close second. (Wizards might have the same problem, i havent tried to early wiz recently so i dont remember.
the primary stack with a primary village is one of my favorite setups. The bloon solver can pretty much solo round 98 by himself let alone all the other nifty towers in primary.

for beast handler you want a 520 beast handler, a 052 beast handler and a 205 beast handler. you'll also want five 420 beast handler, five 042 beast handlers, and five 204 beast handlers, if you want to fully power up all beast handlers (merge everything into the tier fives). Doing this is insanely OP, each fully powered up thing can single handedly destroy a ZOMG easily. I recommend going on cubism, and in the bottom right corner spamming 004 (and one 005) Monkey pirates, and also having a bunch of 024 (and a 025) banana farms in the bottom left, with some 240 (and a 250) monkey farm in the top, and you can easily get enough money. Getting the T-Rex/gigantisaurous is good for it's ability. (Also a 023 monkey farm is better than a 203 monkey farm I think)
If I had to choose something like that… I’d either go dart monkey or sniper. Their both pretty good towers. However I’d literally pick Quincy just because his my favorite character.
My favorite tower and the tower that I would keep in the game would be darling gunner because it has camo ledge, and an overpowered top that can pop everything
Buccaneer is more or less my go to, you can seriously solo any medium or easy map with a single bucc crosspathing 042 into 052 and i routinely use that setup to buzz through medium and mil only maps when farming collection events or such but if we only get to keep a single tower for every map, its gotta be sniper.... can beat camo, can pop lead, can get the sneaky ceramics and leads, can dunk the moabs... its an all around great unit.
One strat for Magic Monkeys only I recently like to use is to put down a 030 druid then get Ben and then constantly get 203 ninjas and 2-3 204 ninjas, it works and looks very funny
I found this cool chimps strat: Sauda into 0-3-2 wizard into 1-5-0 druid into 0-5-2 wizard and then added support like embrittlement and relentless glue

Alright, finally got a video to comment on: Mortars, they come fully into their right on overlap heavy maps, the best place i have seen them used is on the moon map and on spillway, I have combined them with Striker Jones to increase their power. Have learned that i am horrid at farming by watching you. As for a strategy suggestion, try the super monkey fanclub, since you seem to love dart monkeys and spamming monkeys on the field.

You used tripple darts a lot in btd5 because there was no crossbow. btd5 only had two paths and 4 upgrades each. But it had specialty buildings and the darts monkey specialty building made it's darts explode, taking care of lead bloons so you could just spam darts for early game easy My choice for only tower to use would definitely be sniper. Global range, beats every bloontype and great synergy together, elite sniper buffing the others, elite defender carrying lategame with cripple's bonus dmg, and supply drop farming of course
Yo, I don't know how it would fit on screen (honestly you could just show it after the video), but it would be cool if you recorded splits for each segment of the run. I'm interested to see which game modifiers take the longest on average.
Dart Monkey. Despite being the "Basic Tower", it's literally able to fully carry you through any map. It has Camo detection with 0 0 2, it can pop lead and ceramic with 4 0 0, it can make a massive move with super monkey fan club to convert low cost towers into a wall of deatruction. Crossbows deal with everything in the first 80 levels. Dart Monkey is really fricking strong despite what people always think. Plus, being the only tower to be able to have 4 5 Rank Towers also makes thebm quite good. Boat is technically stronger. Until you realize something: You are limited in how many boats you can place. There's only a certain amount of maps that are Ocean maps. The majority are land focussed. So, while Boats are technically better, they aren't as versatile. Imagine trying to do Crossways with Boats. Not gonna be fun.
cant wait for him to make it to the harder maps cause i feel like those are gonna go on for forever unless he uses tutorials. i dont think suarda is that good on harder maps either and ik he mains her
You need more monkey knowledge to sell the villages for more to get the crossbow master on deflation. I haven't gotten it to work yet myself cuz I don't have enough knowledge. I usually do a 0/2/4 sniper with a village and a alchemist for deflation. Kind of boring but works every time.

On deflation mode you can 100% buy crossbow master and be left with 250 afterwards, enough to buy faster and even faster shooting.

To make the easy runs quicker, you could use Moab Assassins to one shot the Moabs. Just a suggestion.

If you dont get the villiages then you can solo deflation on most maps because you can get crossbow master if you have the free dart monkey
