- The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. That saying embodies the philosophy that other people's circumstances are more desirable than our own. This attitude can be extended to where you live, the place you work, the one you're married to, the body type you have, and the income you require. Surely, others have it better than we do! Well, let's uncover three basic principles to debunk that theory and, in so doing, add water and fertilizer to our own grass.
This teaching is from our series Technicolor Joy: A Study through Philippians with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.

"...every where and IN ALL THINGS
I am INSTRUCTED
BOTH to be full AND to be hungry;
BOTH to abound AND to suffer need."
@Alfred Jude Did you see the movie "The Sleeper" 1973 Woody Allen? It is relevant a foresight for our times now.
I would appreciate your prayer. My grand daughter has brain cancer my daughter has been in hospice. Grey unrelenting pain from pancreatic. I just broke my back I know Jesus is showing me something
God is good!
Be CONNECTED to people, Be CONTENT with God's provision, Be CONFIDENT in God's power.
What about if there is no church in your area?? Nothing, countryside and towns far away??
coming from New Mexico to CA , i believe NM to be a very religious state. California on the other hand has more need of the church then to come to a place that is already established with many churches and believers. Seems like low hanging fruit for Skip. Mendocino where he has another home that he flies over to is a harder fruit to harvest. Why does he have another home and tells us to be content? serious question
What does this question have to do with eternity? We aren't asked to remain in places that don't bring us peace but to be content wherever we choose to be

Only partially true, in the 50's you could actually get a home near the beach on minimum wage ( and afford it without roommates) So 4:33 is balogna sorry. But yes, we have bad attitudes, but it might be because people spout little white lies like this.
