- New PB earned on stream from the other night! Bunker II warp and some other things allowed me to get a minute faster. Should be easy to shave off some major time by practising a better Silo and Control.

Easy time saves on Control & Silo, a harder one on Statue since I'd have to learn the early Trevelyan strat by shooting him. I was never able to get that one right which is why I didn't go for it here.
The trev shot is a lot easier on sa/00a
Yeah, need to hit arm or leg in Agent afaik but even then I'm never able to get it lol

I'd like to keep improving Agent, I'll get to 00 Agent some day. I also don't want to focus entirely on runs, maybe once a month!
I dusted off my n64 to play some ge, instantly was like how the hell do I aim like this I'm soo used to the newer controllers the 1 lil joystick is hell now, I got through 1 mission then the game reset so I may need to clean my n64 a lil more or start replacing parts on it
Clean the cart reader, most of the time it's just that. If you have animals at home there may be fur inside too so opening it and dusting it off is best. As for the controls, try 1.2, it's the closest to modern controls. Stick to aim and C-Buttons or D-Pad to move.

Are you playing this on a console or emulator? How do you aim so well? Just practice? You using a controller or mouse and keyboard?
This is console, speedruns for the-elite are only allowed on real hardware. Practice is most of it yes, and using a good condition original controller.
Love your work! Impressive. I'm getting back into goldeneye after 20+years. On emulator though - no access to real hardware. Fair to say I won't be doing any speedruns like this.
Quick question: is it true that goldeneye's frame rate is better in cinema mode than on full mode on the console itself? I only played this game on emulators, so I don't know.
The difference is minimal and there's not enough data to confirm which one is best, would require thousands of hours for a difference that is humanly impossible to notice. You can read some great data here - forums.the-elite.net/index.php?topic=24463.0
